she's also one of the three main characters in my shitty main AU, the others being my fuckass self insert (lillith) and hun/bashou. it's a pokemon magical girl AU that i've been maintaining as a paracosm since roughly late 2016-early 2017. i'm working on a character lore slide for it. i have a super huge lore slide for it but it sits at 160+ slides in length so nobody has ever read it in full except like maybe one person i know IRL? dunno. i'm trying to make a smaller one so that people actually read it lol. a lot of art needs to be produced. it will one day become a fanfiction series on Ao3 or whatever. i'm still figuring out the final details and outline, but i have a few segments written already that i'll publish one day. beyond matori, hun and lillith it also features giovanni, ariana and the other execs, anabel, a bunch of other ocs, attila and sebastian, jessie and cassidy, etc. lots of team rocket.

i'm kind of on a mission to be known as The Matori Person on all the different internet spaces that i inhabit. she's, like, one of the most important things in my life and has been for quite a fucking while now. if there was ever a fictional character i'd want associated with me/synonymous with me, it's her (sorry viggo lmao). i am so fucking insane about her which is mental because i have a compilation of her screentime in both the sub and dub and it maxes out at sub 20 minutes each time, even when considering the non-dubbed clips. so yeah 20 minutes of secretary became my entire personality and i'll likely take my love of her to my grave. so.

dumb matori headcanons include:

she makes her own clothes and cuts her own hair

plays bass guitar because fuck yeah stimmy

she has a thing for vampires and would totally be down to get bitten

her favourite hobby is binging through as many manga oneshots as she can in one sitting

she trained under a professional chef before joining team rocket so she knows how to cook really good meals

she was a scene kid when she was a teenager because i think it's hysterical

she is the reason giovanni doesn't wear his orange suit anymore (she calls it "the fruit salad suit")

constantly bathing. bubble baths. showers trying out her new products. fragrances, candles, flower petals, bath bombs. perfume all the time. bathrobes and cute slippers. really good hair care routine. her scent is the literal definition of clean.

and if we're delving into my crack "hun is a several-millennia-old space alien android idol" headcanon that i unironically use in my main AU (thanks rubyconcream /gen), matori and hun like producing music together.
