Mal's Teen Wolf rewatch: Raving (2x08)
I’m newly re-obsessed with where the fuck Isaac was during that pool party where Matt drowned.
He’s not on Matt’s hit list, so Matt doesn’t blame him. But Matt blames everyone who was there, right? So does that mean Isaac wasn’t there? He went to trade comic books with Isaac, but did they ever actually do that? It seems like, from Matt’s villain monologue, maybe he just wondered out to the party instead.
What does Isaac remember from that night? Because I’m sure he gets blamed for it too.
An aside, Matt’s sense of justice/vengeance is interesting. He can’t kill Camden, who is the one who threw him in the pool, but he also doesn’t seem interested in killing Isaac in his place. Or killing Isaac because meeting him was the reason he was at the Lahey’s in the first place. He’s very focused on the swim team — both those who were active participants (Victor) and bystanders (everyone else). His seeming disinterest in Isaac is interesting to me. (And probably only me.)
i’ve already mentioned how much i hate the whole stalking allison storyline? I FUCKING HATE THIS FUCKING STORYLINE
Stiles is definitely 100% human. That being said, I do think he has a couple of unnatural abilities. I don't think it makes him supernatural, but I do think he might possibly have some kind psychic abilities.
1. Stiles can connect to dots to things his dad, a trained cop and sheriff, can't even connect.
Stiles has always been able to see things that no one else can. It's not just being smart or clever, he literally sees connections that he shouldn't be able to see. It may take a little bit, although it seems to usually be a pretty quick thing, but he always figures it out.
He has a freaking murder board where he uses strings to connect shit together and it's utter chaos but it's organized chaos. I sometimes wonder if he has a vibrate mental image of the strings connecting things together.
2. He can tell when someone is the bad guy.
Has Stiles been right every single time? No, of course not, but he is right most of the time. He can't be right 100% of the time, whether it's because he can't get a good read on someone or that he's still only human, I think the times he's wrong is when there are other stronger factors coming into play.
He was right about Matt. He was right about Jackson being the Kanima. He was right about Peter. He was right about himself when he was possessed by the nogitsune. He was right about Theo.
He can't always explain it or have proof, but sometimes he just knows. Like he just senses something in them.

You know, when you're drowning, you don't actually inhale until right before you black out. It's called "voluntary apnea."
