ACOLYTE - If your character were a deity, what would they be patron of?
THE FUN ONE okay let’s see
Fels - The god of calamity, new beginnings, and the edges of the winter season. Cracks in frozen lakes and flowers pushing through snow are considered his holy places. No one seeks his blessing, but it is considered polite to sing or hum near these places as a greeting.
Jiyon - Officially a god of fire, ambition, and wealth, Jiyon gets buried in a dozen more impressive deities of the same. He is most well known for being a patron of the willfully unmarried and celibate. While he has no clergy, claiming to be a “priest of Jiyon” is another way of saying “I’m happy the way I am, fuck off.”
Matthew - Just your everyday minor nature god. Virtually indistinguishable from any number of other nature gods, except for some confusion that he’s also a god of the hearth. Jumbled traditions resulted in his realm being where home meets nature, and sprigs of grass or flowers tied to a door latch or tucked under a mat is said to bring luck.
SAGE - If your character were to become a teacher, what subject would they teach?
Ordhan - Some kind of P.E. or sports…boring… In a perfect world, he’d have learned an instrument and would teach how to play it, but wouldn’t touch on music theory or reading sheet music at all.
Caleb - THE TEACHINGS OF A CULT okay maybe a rambling mythology class digging into the most obscure stories possible, or a world religions course. If pressed, ancient history.
SOLDIER - What is your character willing to fight for?
Carson - If fight means strive, then knowledge, particularly freedom of knowledge and its practical application. If it means literal fisticuffs, it would be for his own survival, or a kneejerk impulse reaction to defending someone.
Seo - …Nothing. Literally nothing. Probably not for anyone else, definitely not for himself. I don’t think fight is even in his list of options for how to react to any situation, no matter how dire. Shift the meaning to “strive” and it could be said to be for his own stability and independence–and even then it’s a stretch, since it’s mostly at the encouragement of others.
