tbh the way I characterize the dynamic between Alfred and Matt is really mostly like. sibling walks into your doorway just to call you a bitch and runs kind of dynamic. they genuinely do get along well but also antagonize each other for fun. btw Matt is the one calling Alfred a bitch and running before Al beats his ass. they roughhouse for funsies and you bet your ass they've sent each other to the ER at least once. Arthur refuses to watch them wrestle or play hockey because it's bad for his blood pressure.
American dinner food is da bomb. (See the unicorn with Tony?!)
Canada and Kuma looking at constellations (with America's telescope?). Kuma getting teary about the Great Bear!
The others are Polaris, Cygnus, and Castor and Pollux - aka, the Twins!
Can you try on a very tight, tiny, very cropped red tee-shirt with a little white maple leaf on the corner of it?
Marie: “Okay…”
Marie: “Here goes..”
(The Curtains Close!)
Marie: “Thanks for the help Matt…you look….’good’…”
Claude: “What am I looking at?”

Today we discuss right or left-handed twins. (Because I can't sleep.)
Canada: PROBABLY left-handed per canon images. Not a lot to go on here, but he at least throws with his left arm.
BUT, in another image we DO see him holding a coffee cup with his right-hand, implying that's dominant.
America: PROBABLY right-handed per canon. Most telling, he uses his right hand on the trigger during the Revolutionary War scene.
Also, less of a strong argument, he holds his microphone in his right.
BUT in Paint it White, he punched first with his left, which implies THAT is the stronger, dominant hand.
Conclusion? Canon sucks at consistency.
But mostly, we seem to lean to a left-handed Matthew and a right-handed Alfred.
This would make them most likely mirror twins. Mirror twins are identical twins, but ONLY occur in the case that a single egg splits into two.
Meaning (and following my head canon), they are identical (mirror) twins from a single egg (land) that was split into two during the fertilization (settlement) process.
Music! Brought to you by influenza (that part near the end where you feel better but can't stop coughing long enough to sleep).
Both boys were trained by both Arthur and Francis. Primary how to read music, piano/harpsichord, basic vocals but a few others as well. America would later learn guitar from Spain and Mexico. Canada learned it too eventually but much later. He did learn accordion and flute first though! Mattie leans to percussion and woodwinds, while Al leans strongly to strings with a dabble in brass.
That said, they both can banjo and fiddle. Mattie's a mean fiddler but Alfred?
Alfred could beat the devil in a fiddle contest and win.
And although only a few have been privileged enough to see it, his violin could make angels weep.
Voices. America and Canada have the same voice actor, who plays Al loud and Matt quiet. Respectively, I picture their singing voices as similar. However, Matt's is a little lower and huskier, while Alfred's is a clear tenor. Think of a quartet with the lead singer (Al) and then the next voice (Matt) comes in, a little lower and richer but blending seamlessly.
They're also that duo that can pick up instruments, ad lib a tune, and just be perfectly in synch.
