Ill post my partial results from long awaited scans of my innards later tonight on my FB until then......My PROGRESS. Breaking down a story. Issues 41-42 of Green Arrow written by Mairghread Scott and art by me. Here are the last 4 pages, minus a few steps. I begin drawing each book with the first two pages and last two pages right of the bat. I hadn’t saved the first few color roughs hence 19 and 20 missing them Things are very colorful from this point out in the layouts. I began working more in layers for this project. I gave each object in the panel its own color. GREEN ARROW FACT... A common mistake and it happens all the time a scripted page is missing or was repeated. We in this case was missing page 18. Short on time i just drew page 19 as 18 and divided 20 into2 pages the last being the first page i drew as a somewhat splash but focusing on Ollie instead of Parasite. Also Kryptonite man was to be added he but since we’ve not seen him i just dropped him. I changed, dropped, moved and added or altered a few panels to make a few things work more smoothly. As per editors request. My notes to myself and the editor on my approach for the story 1) Play with panel design, No normal panels. Chaos in Prison 2) Only Oliver can break the panel borders, its his book. 3) Superpowered Villains are to big and appear cramped in panels, they don't fit in Olivers world. 4) Oliver silhouettes are Emerald Green not Black 5) Play with narrative think Steranko! in panel design.
