Today was decent, decent birthday, it was a nice day. He got to joke around with Theo, meet some kid named Rey, and the Hermes cabin was always great and welcoming. Even if it was a bit odd to be away from home on a birthday, yeah, he’d probably be getting some main from his mom later, or a late birthday gift from his mom.
Yet, again, just like before the crack of dawn earlier that day, he found himself roaming the familiar forests again, in fact, coming across that same small controlled fire he’d put out earlier after throwing an offering and a prayer towards. “..Maybe I’ll just stay unclaimed forever, that’s fine.” He muttered to himself, hands in his pants pockets.
It seemed like mere seconds, before a pain bubbled up, his body shuttered as he leaned against a nearby tree, one hand covering his mouth, everything was feeling dizzy, and just.. hurt. He felt like he was going to spill his guts, bile, assumingely, creeping up his throat, the headache already forming to the point he didn’t even register that he could hear the sizzling of the foliage under him. He couldn’t tell, but it was.. something. Having to kneel over and actually spill his guts, pretty much, the acid in his throat forcing its way up and out of his mouth, coughing violently as it seeped through his pores, it hurt so much, it was a burning searing pain that made almost everything feel numb, tears in his eyes, those having a tint of green to them as well, he definitely wouldn’t see the claiming symbol above his head, for a flicker of a moment, a green ‘water’ droplet glowed above his head, and perhaps, you could see a winged figure just paces away in the trees

They were interested in Greek mythology much before they found out they were part of it — she isn’t excited to find out who her godly parent is. Thinks the Greek gods are assholes and dumbasses based on how they act- but… they haven’t met them in person, only heard stories, so.. they can’t know for sure. For now they’ll be reluctantly open.

He had vaguely known about being a demigod. He knew he was ‘different’ but… didn’t know it was to the degree of the godly level. They don’t exactly feel reassured when they find out their parent is basically the god of distress.
They’re really working on that whole self esteem thing, plus, changing gender and all… turns out some people don’t even believe in that here- in a positive way. At least they don’t have to face ridicule from more godly figures, because they give little to no shits about gender and all.

He’s okay with some godly stuff, but, it really took him a while to adapt.

You might find it odd, a goddess known to be a virgin, having a child- well, this child wasn’t born of the usual sense. Tara was entirely aware the whole time what she was, what she is. She’s been at camp… for a while. They are more of a… gift. The goddess of home didn’t exactly need a child, but, they wanted to try. After all… mortals find home in family and close ones.
Of course, that didn’t last long- but it was more just an experiment, of course she still cares for her child, just.. interacts less directly.

Kallista definitely wasn’t aware of their godly family at the start. She’d simply heard things from her mother, speaking about her father, it was.. somewhat nice to hear.
Camp was really fun for them, though they were.. disappointed when they realized they still probably couldn’t interact with their dad. Yes, they were now a ‘claimed’ camper, but.. nothing really changed, did it? She enjoys telling her mom about camp, though she doesn’t say anything around her little siblings.. just in case they spew it around.

Nick didn’t really want to know about the mother that couldn’t be there, after all, aren’t mothers always seen as the “unconditionally loving” family members?
It explained a lot when he found out about the whole demigod thing, but… he was still a little annoyed at it all

Eh, he’s still figuring that out… anyways- yeah he didn’t know much about it

He just sorta ignores it.. he’s not his dad, after all! But yeah, he doesn’t care much about his godly heritage.. unless someone starts to taunt him with it, than he gets a little pissy.

Was this why he felt best hidden in brambles rather than lounging in the dull landscape of the concrete jungle he spent his recent days in? He doesn’t know, but.. he’s come to accept it more.

Now he’s 22 years old and honestly.. kinda wishes he could forget about his whole childhood, all the demigod stuff, it sucks, but.. he misses camp. A lot.

He liked his time at camp, but of course, those days are over. It was just very recently, but still, it just… it’s weird. He hates it, the world is so divided…
He now works part time and is studying to be an architect, he always sorta thinks of visiting his mom, but… yet again, complicated feelings on the whole gods thing.

Max was just outside his house, peaceful day, somewhat chilly out, but, that’s winter, so it’s to be expected.
Just a peaceful day, at least, that’s what he expected. His mom just went back inside and was looking for Lykos, the odd little pup they’d found the other day, and their golden retriever, who was somewhat of a pup himself still, was laying in the grass nearby where Max was sitting. The golden retriever, Rodger, his ears perked up the moment Theo shadow traveled, Max was very confused in the second the pup started barking at the air, “The hells-“
And then a random fucking dude appears out of nowhere and falls oh him. He just took a moment to process it, “I—… it’s… okay..?” Rodger, despite being still very much a puppy, just kept barking at Theo even though max seemed fine.
Max was sat alone in the woods, in front of a little controlled fire, having just thrown some offering in there, “…Would just kinda be nice if you saw me, you know?” he knew nothing would probably happen, just.. kinda felt shitty. Officially 16, and still not claimed, yeah, he wasn’t at camp much, so it explained it, but still.. he had kinda hoped he’d be claimed by now. Instead of just left high and dry. Anyways, he sat there for a few moments, extinguishing the small fire, and walking back to the Hermes cabin, it was early as hell in the morning.
Max was honestly surprised anyone remembered it- he’d had like, an entire fistful of confetti thrown in his face, eyes widening in confusion as what seemed like.. a small birthday party was set up? The hells? “wha-“
Ana, an older Hermes camper, just smiled at him and gave him an affectionate hair ruffle, “The big one six! Did you think we’d forget Maxie?”
“But- I’m like never at camp, how the hells do you even know my birthday?” He couldn’t help but laugh and smile a bit, to which the fellow redhead just put a finger to her lips, “I have my ways. Now, go have fun, we’ve got stuff to do later.”
…Yeah, probably anyone outside could hear the ruckus of the very energetic Hermes kids. You could interact, or just watch, if that’s what you want.
