I haven’t been claimed- ‘n I’m in no rush to do that either. I mean, a lot of stuff’s happened around here in the past couple years, I reckon, and right now I’m content where I’m at. Just being a summer camper, spending most of the time back in Georgia and just having a good time with family.

I’m content with camp activities, I love camp, really! But, I also want to be around family as well- like, by that I mean my mom, no offense, camp! She’s really awesome! I wish I inherited more form her physically..

What else should I say? I’m really just here to have fun, I might not know my godly parent, but I’m doing well right now! Theo left the palace in a hurry today. He felt something bad was going to happen. It had to. It's been calm for way too long for him, even though horrible things were happening left and right. It was a very specific feeling he couldn't understand. But something was going to happen.

And it did. Theo was walking away from the palace, in his usual spot in the forest when all of a sudden he started getting dragged by his wrists, he didn't even get to draw his stygian iron blade otherwise this would've been over before it started.

He found himself being held by a person. Or what seemed to be a person. He didn't actually see what they looked like, all covered up like a coward. Except their mouth. Their mouth was smiling. Without a word, they took a small knife and tried to stab him through the heart, which obviously didn't work and the blade just bounced off of Theo's skin.

That's when they started looking him over, as they probably realized he has the Achilles curse. They quickly saw just how much he was pulling his head away, immediately pulling it to themself and inspecting it.

Eventually they found the bald spot, Theo's Achilles spot. But in the meantime, Theo managed to grab his stygian iron blade from its sheath and put it to the person's neck, one of their hands stopping him at the wrist. Their other hand pushing the knife into Theo's other hand and grabbed his wrist there as well, then started pushing it towards his Achilles spot.

After a while of this weird wrestling with each other, something happened. SNAP. Blades going through bodies. Blades hitting the floor. The masked figure's body was gone, their soul absorbed into Theo's sword. Theo on the other hand... had a scratch on his bald spot. His body stumbled forward, and for a fraction of a second he was conscious- before it all faded to black.

Theo's body fell forward, onto his face. Dead. But... something about this felt strange. Death Mist gathered around the body, almost surrounding it, floating just above it. And this is the scene you find.

Max hated all of this. It was— it was a bother, it was so annoying. Everything that happened, why did it have to happen to them? He gets it, misery is literally.. like.. their mom, but still.. he just kinda wishes Theo would.. not get in so much trouble. He could almost tell it was gonna happen- that’s probably what that anxious feeling recently was. He walked around the forest, attempting to see if his brother was there, “Theo?” He called out, just.. walking. Until he saw the body, for a moment he was confused, why was Theo laying—

It looked at the scene as it floated down, waiting a moment before it looked at Max. It then pointed to Theo's lifeless body and to itself, as if it was trying to communicate something.

“…Theo..?” He murmured, a bit confused, but that form was- it was familiar.. kinda. As he looked to the figure, it’s… even if the figure wasn’t clear, he could see it, kinda.. he could see little outlines of Theo’s features, and it felt like him.. felt like Theo. He looked from the body to the misty figure, he made a little scooch away from Theo’s physical form, as if to give the creature space

The mist gave a nod, at least it looked like it before pulling itself closer to Theo's body and starting to stick itself into it. Whatever entrance it found, it seemed uncomfortably small and difficult to get through. It struggled for a moment before fully disappearing within Theo's body. A couple seconds passed before Theo jolted up into a sitting position, gasping for air desperately.

And Max immediately pulled Theo into a hug- probably not the best thing to do when someone was gasping for breath- but still- he panicked and HOLY SHIT HIS BROTHER WAS JUST DEAD

Theo's been dealing with some things lately, but he just can't think of any solution to any of his problems. He feels bad for it, for not being able to help, no matter how much he tries. Now that he's seen the state Argo was in when he left him in that cell, he feels... horrible as ever.

He had to shadow travel away, he couldn't stay with his brother any further. It was clear Argo didn't want him there, and he would respect his brother's wishes... most of the time. Once he made sure Argo was back in control and relatively safe — or at least knew he'd claim to be safe — he left.

Though, something happened when he was in that cell. The Death Mist surrounded him at one point, and refused to leave him since. He did manage to briefly rid his hands from it, but it was only temporary and he's not sure he can bounce back from this as easily as he though he could back when it all started. It's cold. Really, really cold.

You find him in the forest again, standing in the shadow of a tree. Though, it's... not really him. It's more so a cloud of mist, or at least it looks to be that. A cloud of mist in a vaguely humanoid shape, with... some unnatural coloration to it. Almost like human skin. What could convince some that it really is Theo are the greenish-red blobs visible on the cloud's form. Around where a human chest would be, and the most of them are around where the heart would be.

With all the shit that’s happening how can Max NOT be worried? Okay so one of his fucking aunts broke into his room and talked with him for a brief minute, apparently some fuckers are going missing, some fucker is on DEATH PAROLE OR SOME SHIT?? He was just looking around for Theo, pausing as he came across the misty form in front of him. He was pretty sure he recognized it but- fuck it would be awkward if he got it wrong, “I… hello..?”

The cloud seems to notice Max and move towards him. Barely visible features try to scan Max, but seem to be having difficulty. They get more blurry by the second, as if they were becoming one with the mist. "H... hello?" There's a small and very muffled voice coming from the cloud.

He had to shadow travel away, he couldn't stay with his brother any further. It was clear Argo didn't want him there, and he would respect his brother's wishes... most of the time. Once he made sure Argo was back in control and relatively safe — or at least knew he'd claim to be safe — he left.

Though, something happened when he was in that cell. The Death Mist surrounded him at one point, and refused to leave him since. He did manage to briefly rid his hands from it, but it was only temporary and he's not sure he can bounce back from this as easily as he though he could back when it all started. It's cold. You find him in the forest again, standing in the shadow of a tree. Though, it's... not really him. It's more so a cloud of mist, or at least it looks to be that. A cloud of mist in a vaguely humanoid shape, with... some unnatural coloration to it. Almost like human skin. What could convince some that it really is Theo are the greenish-red blobs visible on the cloud's form. Around where a human chest would be, and the most of them are around where the heart would be.
