Max Standoff

Where does Max come from? Max stems from a really difficult time in my life... I had went through a really unhealthy relationship, followed by an even more unhealthily breakup... Following the breakup, I really lost touch with myself because I felt like I had been isolated beyond all reason, and underwent an extremely rocky grieving process.. Upon recollecting myself mentally, I began to envision my grieving process as a sort of family... The Standoff family... We have Maximilian, who represents anger/depression Maxine, who resembles bargaining Maxwell, who represents acceptance And then Max... Max became the embodiment who had to be strong enough to house all 5 stages... As I came to terms with where I was in life, I began envisioning costumes, set designs, melodies, and the likes. From these visions, I realized that I had a knack for writing, and a multitude of emotions to stem my writing from... which led to the idea of: in the event that I became a singer/performer, my first albums would be classified into my "characters".. whom I wrote the songs to fit different personalities and styles .. Lo and behold, I suddenly had my entire singing career planned out in front of me, in the event that I would create one for myself. This is where Max Standoff originates.. and hopefully one day I can help you understand the beauty behind him, and how much he helped save my life...
