walk with me. It’s 2015, Grant is 8 years old and Darnell has come over with his new husband for the first time. Grant is confused, until it’s explained to him that two men can get married just like his mom and dad. Wide eyed, he looks at Darnell and says “you can do that?” with wonder. Darnell looks at him knowingly and says “Yes. Yes you can.” and waits for him to figure it out.
