My Maxim / Parable
I just want to leave High School with this note. I didn't really expect that I'd be writing this, but, I just wanted to write this out of nowhere. I guess thats happens in life. You don't expect to do things sometimes, but, for some strange reason, you end up doing it. Life takes us through this journey where we don't have that much guidance. Life isn't going to hand us a lamp to guide us through this dark forest. I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but I just wanted to make a point that life is unexpected. We don't know where we're going, but yet, we still follow the mysterious road. We're going to encounter obstacles during the journey, but, for some odd reason, I think we'd be just fine. With our friends and family holding our hands as we make this long journey, there is no limit. The sky isn't the limit.
I can't help but think about Moses when I write this. If my memory is correct, I recall Moses traveling through the desert for endless of years with his followers because God was upset with Moses for lying to the followers. The followers followed Moses because they had this dream or idea of having their own sacred ground for their own religious practices. Is that what's going to happen to me? Could Moses be a symbol for a dream and we're followers of that dream? Am i going to keep following a dream for years and years in hoping that I would achieve that so called dream? Insanity is when a person does the same task over and over again, and expects a different result. Am i going to become insane when i chase my dream? Were the followers insane?
Lastly, I just want to talk about the people I encounter throughout my high school career. I just want to say that I'm happy that our paths intertwine at one moment in our life. I'll remember this for years to come, trust me i will. And, I'm sorry for the very fact that we couldn't keep what we used to have. I'm fine with not being friends anymore, but rather, just strangers. Because whenever our path decides to connect once again, it be a whole new beginning.
P.S: Sorry for the incorrect grammar, syntax, or spelling. I hate writing.
