I never wanted to rewrite a book until reading Maximum Ride Forever .
It feels like the ghost writer took the first rough draft outline of the book to the editor for notes and the editor didnt even look at it and sent it straight to publishing..
There is a novel to be written about the apocalypse that wasn't saved , and what happens to the childern who were supposed to save it .

Why did James Patterson write Maximum Ride Forever?
I was wondering if anyone has read all of Maximum Ride Series if so- I always wondered why James Patterson wrote the ninth book. Don’t get me wrong, I welcomed it after reading Nevermore because that book is my least favorite in the entire series. Was it the fandom’s disappointment or was it that he wanted to give Max and the flock a proper send off?
To me, I think it’s a bit of both but I’d love to hear other people in the fandom’s opinions.
MAXIMUM RIDE
I just finished Maximum Ride Forever (finally revisited the series after just rereading the first 4 a million times) AND I NEED ANSWERS I have read countless tweets and reviews, rants, etc., but something no one has questioned from what I’ve seen is - if Angel is the Voice, and she constantly wants him to leave the Flock so they survive, WHY DID SHE TELL HIM TO COME BACK, MAX NEEDED HIM??????? Also who is Angel’s Voice? Ugh.
Im about 100 pages into Maximum Ride Forever and I'm becoming convinced that this is James Patterson's End of Evangelion
SOME SPOILERY THINGS
He's brutalized all the characters (especially Nudge) and killed off four characters(for now) . The setting is bleak, post apocalyptic and littered with mass graves and death
All the flock hates each other and continues to shit on Max.
Angel is still nuts for no reason
Do Max and Fang get freaky and then Fang leave or did I misinterpreted that.
It feels like Fuck all the fans Max cant be happy because I've fucked up the plot to much guess I'll make it worse.
Jonny Diamond might be the best bad character name Jp has come up with, but also his theories on the world ending wtf ( james patterson was not okay writing this book)
