28)Reader listening to Character confess his love when she wasn't supposed to.
"I don't know what to do here, Gem,"
I paused before I could pass by the door at the sound of Chibs voice.
"Well you gotta do something soon baby. You can't keep stringing her along," Gemma replied.
I heard the flick of Chibs' lighter and him take a deep breath, "Aye... I love her. I guess I'm afraid that she'll not feel the same,"
"What are you doin'!?" Tig yelled.
I yelped, the papers that I held in my arms falling to the floor.
"Well shit," Chibs said, coming out of the room.
"Goddamnit, Tiggy!" I cursed, dropping to my knees to pick up the mess while Tig laughed.
"Here ya go, Love," Chibs handed me a small stack of papers.
I blushed, biting my lip, "Thanks Filip,"
"So uh... how much did ya hear?" He asked me after a moment of silence.
"All of it!" Tig yelled again.
"Son of a bitch! Shut up Trager!" Gah my face was burning.
"Can I talk to ye, please?"
I nodded, holding the papers close to my chest.
We went outside to the picnic tables and took a second before speaking.
"Did you really mean it, Filip?"
"Of course I did, Y/N," his features relaxed, the stress melting away, "I'm sorr-eh that I didn't tell ye sooner... I feel like a tiny lad again,"
I chuckled, making Chibs smile. Placing some hair behind my ears, I shyly admitted how I felt, "I feel that way too,"
I could feel myself turning to mush as his dimples deepened.
"Chibs! Church!" Tig stuck his head outside the door, grinning at interrupting us again.
"Go out to dinner with me tonight... after I kill Tig?" He asked.
Chibs gave me one last smile before kissing my cheek. He winked at me and headed inside the clubhouse with a little more pep in his step.
