#maybe aromantic

i am still very far from a conclusive identity but today i came across the term “oriented aroace” and it feels right, at least for now

it captures the struggle i’ve been having lately with not quite understanding romantic attraction, suggesting aro on top of my existing ace label, but still feeling that identifying as bi is important to me

because i experience aesthetic & alterous(?) & sensual attraction pretty strongly towards people of all genders

like it might not be romantic but i’m definitely still into people in a way that is Gay™️ yknow?

idk, if anyone else wants to share their feelings so i can be less confused that would be cool

I think I might be aromantic

Something about "having a crush" and "asking her out" just seems like something I wouldn't do. Another thing is that I've never felt like I should have a girlfriend because I want to, and more of "I have to because there's no other option." But I feel like I just don't want to date and I don't have any crushes. Is that the same thing as being aromantic? I'm not to familiar with that type of stuff. Sorry if I got it wrong!

Just me struggling with the idea of being aromantic, cause my therapist was like "if you can get all your needs met without being in a relationship (I'm asexual), do you have any romantic needs?"

No I do not.

I need a relationship to have someone for the rest of the stuff.... Right? :')
