Ooooh, okay this was the fic I was originally going to write for Crowyuan, back when it had first dropped into my inbox and there was only one idea that we were building on (sighs longingly into my whiskey). Now there's so many potential plotlines for the AU that I don't know where to start!!! Also I read the title myself and just thought "this would be a great wangxian fic" because I'm just picturing petty thief Wei Wuxian who keeps getting caught - and consequentially worming his way out of the grasp of - police officer Lan Wangji who is slowly getting more frustrated (and invested and enthralled) with this criminal who only seems to steal the most random shit. Like, elastic bands??? Really?
