I think I’d go with something sad and ironic where Whumpee has experienced a loss. Maybe there’s a ghost. Maybe Whumpee is having a horribly difficult time letting go of their grief and guilt. Maybe it’s both. Either way, Whumpee beings to doubt their sanity.
Spiritual Side of Tumblr, I need advice
So I just had a series of dreams/nightmares and I dont know what to make of them.
My partner and I are hoping to rent and move into a house in the next town over, only a 15 minute drive from where we're staying now. This house has recently been renovated and is very nice inside, save for the bathroom, and is perfect for us.
But this house is on a street in the town that has quite a bad reputation for late night violence and drugs in general. There's a story about this house that I remember hearing about in school, about 7 years ago now.
A fight broke out in the front yard of this house. It didnt last long and one guy left while the other stayed (he was the then tenant of the house). So as I remember it, the firat dude came back later on in the night, broke into the house and tried to stab the tenant. One of them eventually got stabbed but I dont remember who. He stumbled off the property and up the street a bit before collapsing and dying.
So was just jolted awake from a series of dream of someone standing over me with a knife. Other variations were a knife floating through the house, a person holding a knife standing in a corner of the room and my body being possessed and then leaving to find a knife then returning to stab my partner (the scariest one). I had one other dream of being in an ER. The person next to me was trying to be revived with a big defibrillator. It was making lots of loud beeping sounds and flashing lights that spooked me.
I dont know if I shoud ask the real estate agent if the previous tenant reported any spooky/weird happenings in the house, or if I should take these dreams into consideration when applying to rent the house. Or if we do get accepted to rent the house if I should try and clense right away, or wait for something to happen?

(set in the not so far future)
A film about someone who inherits the dining room table from their great grandma. At a party, someone leans on it and it suddenly snaps open to reveal an unfinished tabletop game - maps, character sheets, dice, notes ...
A Notebook set at the top reveals the truth - great grandma used to play a very long-running game, they were close to finishing but never met up for the last session because Life(tm) got in the way. It’s the protagonist’s quest to finish that game. At All Costs.
(Optional: One of the old players is still alive in some retirement home. But as any good mentor does, they die before they can reveal the last bit of their wisdom. It seems like all is lost.)

I’m watching a paranormal investigation show. They are so much nonsense and my favorite.
Some thoughts:
-If you stay up for 72 hours straight, you might hallucinate from sleep deprivation, rather than ghosts.
-Human beings are hanged, meat is hung. This is a pet peeve of mine.
-It is hard to breathe in an abandoned decrepit bathroom because it is full of mold and mildew and that shit makes it hard to breathe.
-There are no whispers, stop saying you heard whispers. Old buildings make a ton of noise, I grew up in them they are hella loud.
-If I were a ghost, I would not talk to people who were yelling at me, especially if they were dressed like bums and being rude.
-Electro shock treatment was not cruel, or painful. It was actually an effective treatment, and my great aunt had severe depression which was only improved by shock treatment. When it got the reputation of being torture, her doctors stopped administering it even though it was the only thing that helped.
-Souls do not pass on in the morgue, they are long gone by the time the body reaches the morgue. Morgue does not mean what you think it means.
-Who would haunt a mortuary slab? Seriously, no one has an emotional connection to that space, except maybe the mortician.
-No one wants to possess you, because you are a couple of goobers and ghosts just want to be left alone.
-Once again, headaches and a feeling of general malaise can be attributed to the fact you are in a CONDEMNED BUILDING WHICH IS MADE OF MOLD.
-All basement are creepy. Every single one. Not just those in abandoned lunatic asylums.
-I want to stay in a haunted hotel very badly. I would be super chill and polite, and not make the ghosts feel bad about being ghosts.
