Jinyoung + shy kisses

You had known him for a while now, meeting him by chance had been your stroke of luck because he was always there for you when you needed him; even in the form of a text message with key strokes of endearment letting you know it’d be okay. Despite his hectic schedule he made time for you, texting you at least every other day but most times you had one message a day of him asking how your day was. When he came back from tour you had felt nervous, and for reasons you couldn’t really fathom because he was just Jinyoung. He was sweet and prince-like, someone with a killer smile and an even better personality. The greeting between the two of you was awkward to say the least, when he wrapped you in a tight hug all you could do was stand there with your hands at his waist just soaking in the warmth that radiated off of him.

It was impossible for him to not feel the tension, he stroked your hair gently before lifting your head head by the chin to meet his eyes, “Are you okay?” his voice was soft, you almost hadn’t heard him and all you could offer him was a small nod. It was then you realized your feelings for him had morphed into something that neither of you could have ever expected, “good,” he murmured softly and his lips brushed over your suddenly - but barely - it was almost like they weren’t there. Your breath caught in your throat and his lips pressed firmer against yours - a sigh escaping you both, when he pulled away he looked down at you; his eyes hazy with an emotion that couldn’t be placed and a touch of pink grazing both your cheeks. 

“I’m happy you’re home,” you whisper softly and a smile break out on his face, dazzling like the midnight sky - he was more handsome than when he had left and your heart pounded in your chest as he placed a second chaste kiss against your parted lips. You could hear a soft whisper against your mouth, “me too,”

You both have different energy levels, you’re spontaneous with the things you do for him while he’s more likely to give you something simple that might have taken him awhile to plan. He’s calm and steady while you’re joyful which often consists of you making him laugh. His attention to detail will always be good for you since you tend to make decisions on the go, he’ll help you out in situations because he always analysis everything around him, pointing out details and errors you might have missed while you were going through everything so fast. You both know feelings are important so the affection is natural, never forced. Simple and kind gestures are normal for both of you. You like making decisions but are usually laid back and casual, he usually makes the most important decision for you so you don’t feel pressured. Since you make plans on the go, he’ll always tell you that you should be a bit more organized, although you know that he will organize your things for you even though he won’t tell you. Most importantly, you help him relax and have fun, he’s always trying to do and fix something but you’re there to remind him it’s okay to unwind and kick back sometimes.

jinyoung, blue, scarf

It was cold like you couldn’t believe, you had three layers on. You had your thermals, your leggings on over the bottoms, and long sleeve jumper on that was baggy and came past your backside. Over that you wore a thick wool lined leather jacket, a beanie and leather gloves - but the wind was harsh and part of you wished you hadn’t have left your favorite scarf back at the house. The walk to the dorm was about eight minutes but it still made your skin burn from the cold wind that whipped around you.

You heard a voice calling to you and you squinted seeing them get closer, “[Y/N]!!” it yelled again and your recognized it as Jinyoung - he was all bundled up, he hadn’t mentioned meeting you half way. You walked quicker and smiled when you came face to face with him. He had a scarf in hand, and he was bundled up pretty tightly as well - he wrapped it around your head and neck sheltering your head from the wind. “I wish you had just called a taxi, I would have paid for it,” he murmured as he cupped your face in his gloved hands. “Come on, lets get to the dorm before we both freeze,” he kissed you gently before wrapping his arm around your shoulder leading you to the dorm where it’d be warm.

hey jordan! I was reading does this make sense for the 10th time and I was wondering a few things: first, have you ever thought about doing some kind of spin off with jimin? like not the same reader etc but kind of a twin series? second, what was your favorite chapter to write? lastly, I just wanted to say that this is absolutely one of my favorite yoongi fics ever, it is truly a masterpiece so congrats 😋

hey :) ooo i’ve never thought of a twin series but the idea is really cool! maybe i could do a oneshot or something bc i really loved jimin’s character in dtms, he was v cute haha. and ah, my favourite chapter to write was probably 08 bc it was so emo lmao! (and jimin was in it). but in general, i really loved dtms as a whole. it was the first series i wrote and it will forever be my baby :’) thank you so much for your kind words! <3
