i saw zootopia 2 (⚠️⚠️⚠️ SPOILERS INCOMING) and i am very pleasantly surprised! i have to admit i didn't have high hopes for it because all part 2s and remakes and sequels lately havent been the best but this one was really good! it kept the important theme of the first one (a theme that is even more important today). i loved how they called back to things in the first movie a lot without going overboard. gary was very adorable. also, that plot twist!!!!!! oh my god!!! when i first saw pawbert i kinda threw it out there that he would be the new unexpected villain, but it was mostly as a joke and i also said it about Kronk- i mean mayor winddancer. i quickly forgot i had said that. pawbert was so convincing. he was just a silly guy. and then he fucking stabbed judy and i AUDIBLY GASPED IN A THEATRE SURROUNDED BY 7 YEAR OLDS. hes a really good character. when he revealed he was evil it wasn't like "yeah. i was evil all along muahaha" it was like, what i would expect it to be like for some kid killing someone for some stupid reason, no experience ever doing anything like that before "oh my god, my heart is pounding! i thought you knew! i thought you knew." "oh please dont be mad at me." hes insane. his blank stares and glowing eyes and even the shining reference shot all freaked me out a lot. oh my god its perfect. good kitty was actually evil kitty all along. also dont even get me started on judy and nick. now they HAVE to make a third movie bc these bitches are still pining. theyre still the same and have that same dynamic and i love it. they finally opened up to each other and nick got to be emotionally available. theyre so UGHHHHHH. one of the best straight ships out there. AND NICK FINALLY SAYS HE LOVES HER. please fucking KISS ALREADY
