(m/n)= Middle name (your middle name is going to be your birth name your parents gave you and your name (y/n) will be the name that WICKED gave you. if you don't have a middle name use a name you like if you want.)
"mommy?" I asked huddling closer into my mom as we sat in the corner of basement. She looked down at me.
"Your not going to let the big scary people take us, right." I asked. She stroked my hair and gave me a sad smile.
Then my dad came down holding my older brother, Shaw's hand tightly.
My mom got up to talk to my dad. Shaw walked over and huddled close to me. I'm only 4 years old. Shaw's 6. My birthday was just yesterday. We been hiding in the basement ever since yesterday afternoon when we heard the gunshot and screams outside.
My dad was shaking restlessly. I could tell he was trying to control it. "This is the only way." I heard him say to my mom. My mom shook her head.
Then there was a bang on the front door. We all looked up. My parents walked over to us. My mom cuddled both me and shaw whispering "i'm sorry." over and over again
My Dad kneeled down at me and put both hands on my shoulders. He looked me in the eyes. He gave me a weak smile.
"Your so brave (m/n). Remember daddy always love you. What I'm doing you need to know that its because I dint want you to see what's about to happen." He said. I nodded. A tear rolled down my eye. He cupped my cheeks and rubbed the tear away.
"I need to stay strong. For me and mommy. Your really smart. Our little nerd." He gave a sad laugh.
"No matter what, you keep fighting for what you know is right. You and your brother. Here." He pulled out a necklace.
"I love you (m/n). I love you to the moon and back. Never forget that." He said as he looked me in the eyes. His eyes were shaking just like his hand.
My mom stroked my hair. But didn't say nothing. I snaked closer to her.
Another Pound came from above.
My dad looked at my mom and nodded. My mom gave a whimper and shook her head. "no, no, I can't." she said through tears holding me and my brother closer.
Then the basement door flew open. A group of big scary people in suits came down. One of them looked straight at me and shaw.
He pointed a gun. My mom screamed. I held my brother hand and squeezed my eyes shut.
Then came the bang. A few seconds later, I heard a whisper. "make me proud, both of you." It was my mom. I opened my eyes. My moms Grip from the hug went limp.
I looked back at her. Her eyes still open but without any life in them. A tear rolled down in one last time.
I turned around. I shook her. "MOMMY! wake up!" I yelled as i cried.
Shaw pulled me. "(m/n), she's gone. We need to go." he said.
As soon as i got up right beside me was my dad laying on the ground. I put my face into my brothers shoulder.
"Take them outside to be tested." yelled one of the guard peoples.
I then felt a hand on my shoulder. It was gentle. "I'm sorry both of you. I'm sorry but we had no choice." A woman voice said. It was a female guard.
We were lead outside. The trees were dead. The air was musky and sandy. I heard screaming. Lots of people like the one in my house was running around. There were also people with not much hair or none at all runnign around laughing or screaming in pain.
I squeezed shaws hand hard.
Then a crazy looking lady ran up. She was shaking which reminded me of my mom. "little immunes I figure. G-gonna l-ive while the rest of us d-d-die. or are you gonna find a c-cure? hmmm? hahaha!" she said. Then she started crying. The guard that escorted us pulled their gun out and the crazy lady ran away.
The woman took of her helmet and bend down in front of me and shaw. "which one of you is (m/n)?" She asked.
I hesitated. "me" i said.
She looked at me and gave a weak smile. Then she used some kind of gun thing. "this won't hurt. Just stay still, okay?" she said putting the tip to my forehead. "Beep"
She did my brother then took out a needle. "I'm gonna need to take some of your blood. But i promise you wont feel anything okay?" she said. I nodded.
she did as she said and put in in a bottle. She looked at mine and then at the side appeared a symbol, " - IMMUNE "
She smiled. Then went to shaw.
"Is that your little sister?" She asked as she pricked Shaw's arm. Shaw nodded. "how old are you both?" She asked putting his blood in a bottle like mine.
"(m/n) is four years old, I'm 6." Shaw told her.
The lady looked at shaw's bottle and then appeared a "+"
The lady looked at me with a frown face then at shaw. She touched my cheek. "I'm gonna talk to your brother for a minute, okay?" she said. she pointed at a bug ship thingie. "you see that, that's the berg. I want you to go there and go inside and sit okay? your brother will be right behind alright?"
I looked at shaw. He nodded. I took a deep breath and let go of his hand and ran to the berg.
I looked to see a guard at the door. "you," He checked me and then pushed me inside. i liked the lady better then the other guards.
I was sitting in between two guards.
I was waiting. I wondered what the crazy lady mean't by Immune. What does that mean anyways.
A few minutes later the lady guard walked in the berg. I looked behind her to see if see if shaw was there.
the lady guard looked at me. Then looked away.
A tear rolled down my eye.
I lost my only last art of my family. My best friend.
