I’m curious
I know you don’t like anthology horror as much but
if you could make an anthology series, serious, comedic, or horror
what would you do? Would you use your own characters for it? Or make new ones
I ask because I got into Heavy Metal recently
I don't dislike anthology horror, I don't think. If I remember correctly, that's like a series of short stories, right?
Like the stuff written by Junji Ito counts, right?
Or the "scary stories to tell in the dark" book series?
I like those! I guess I just don't talk about them as much. Because I don't always know what to say? Not sure.
But if I made one? Hm...
Knowing me, it would likely be one of those horror/romance comedies. I love horror comedies. Things like "The Upturned" (underrated game!) Or "Cabin in the woods" (I think that's what it was called?)
To be honest, I already have some characters that could work for something like that.
Characters like Jack and Cole from my comic "My Boyfriend Eats Roadkill"
Or Frostbyte and Scorch, my ghost characters.
Or Mantisworm. The strange creature that I dreamed of one time and then drew and made a character of.
Again?It would probably be a bit more on the comedic side.I've always loved that kind of surreal/odd humor.
