travis during s3- WOW this is a rough one. poor guy. i rlly hate how an honestly rlly good character is undermined by his constant objectification of women but I DIGRESS. he mediates and kills the shapeshifting imps night and day. at this point he’s really good at recognizing their magicks- however he always falters for a second when they take the form of katelyn

laurance is a short king. hate that term but only use it ironically. he’s not super short but more like 5’ 8” but every time someone says their height he just chuckles and goes “really? cause i’m 6’1… so”

Garroth enjoys quiet time in the village. he seems like he’d have a silly little secret hobby like gardening or something. somewhere he can just be himself (was more helpful in his fugitive days while still wearing his helm 24/7- his secret gardening area gave him a break from wearing it) he likes to plant purple flowers to see aph smile

dante is always down for a challenge- more rampant in his younger years but a trait he never looses. he’s always the guy to look at a tall object and say “… who thinks i can climb that??” or to always wanna start arm wrestling/ dare or dare with the other boys

katelyn… oh boy do i hate how her very intricate character was made into “argggg anger issues”. she has a very interesting mix between calmness/ introspection and love for justice/tendency to escalate to anger. i think she genuinely does struggle with anger issues however i think her free time is spent almost 100% on calming practices when she’s not training

lucinda. you can’t TELLL me from her voice actor that she doesn’t have a tangible aura around her. non magickal characters can’t really place their finger on it, but when they’re around lucinda they don’t rlly wanna leave and it feels kind of ? warm? and comfy. warm like vanilla and cinnamon. this is a spell she casts to make people accept/ have natural disposition towards her because of how outcasted she feels as a witch

Something I find interesting to write about my interpretation of Janus is that they actually prefer to be dehumanized over being treated like a person

They believe themself to be a weapon. He likes being a weapon, it means he's useful and has value. They like to be perceived as such, it means they're doing something correct

My Janus also doesn't believe themself to be a person. A weapon? Yes. A monster? Definitely? Someone's (Zane's) tool? Absolutely. But a human being??? Nah, not Janus. They can't be human under any circumstance

Another reason that they don't perceive themself as being human is because that would mean there was something wrong with them. Weapons don't feel bad when they kill because weapons don't have empathy, but humans are supposed to feel bad about killing. Janus doesn't. He just feels satisfaction at a job well done

The only reason they gave themself a name was so that people would be able to address them better. Janus doesn't care about humanity, in his mind, there's only purpose

And that's to be useful to the person they've deemed is worthy of it at the time

since vylad died so young (i hc 10), he still has this feeling of childlike wonder from time to time. if he finds something he doesn’t know or understand, he’s often very curious about said thing.

MCD headcannons/theories???

Ok so some are messy and such. I'm rewatching MCD so some things may be debunked and I've forgotten go ahead and point that out if so.

Zane all his free time Fantasizing Irene and when he met Aphmau it was like dreams come true. (I'm pretty sure in S1 He even asked for her hand in marriage)

Garroth wanted to step up to help take care of Baby Levin because he felt it was his fault Zenix left and became twisted.

Matilda is also from the Yadgisil forest(Zoey's home) because she also has elf like ears and mentioned how Zenix could trace her magic.

Kawaii~Chan would make maids for Nekoette to play with.

Rating Jury of Nine members based on how physically strong I think they are (my opinion):

1. Janus. They are OP. Like, could kill you without even trying level of strong. He's too powerful for this world that's why jesson killed them off before we even got to meet them in the og diaries

2. Ivy. It's heavily implied she killed Janus whilst in her prime. Also, she has canonically killed Shadow Knights. Only died because Raven attacked her from behind. Arguably the Juror that got to be evil and alive for the longest amount of time (if you don't count Zane). Good for her, they hate to see a girlboss winning

3. Katelyn. Based on pure vibes alone. She's buff, she's glorious, she could kill you but she's morally complex and probably won't <3

4. Lillian. I love her don't get me wrong, I just also think she doesn't rank higher than Katelyn (Katelyn did take her out in the Irene dimension). But I say she's stronger than Ivan because he primarily relies on magicks and psychological torment to win imo

5. Jeffory. He's awesome but he got killed by Zane. ZANE. I cannot rank him higher out of good conscience. However, I will say that if magical and tactical abilities were counted on this list then he'd be higher. You died before your time rip king you will be missed

6. Ivan. Previously explained. Too magicks oriented for me to rank him higher. He's a Mage he has two hit points.

7. Unknown person.

8. Unknown person.

9. Zane. I know he's canonically strong enough to fight Garroth, but consider. No. He doesn't NEED to be strong, he has people to kill FOR him.

(Yes I count Zane he's a Juror shut up)

random hc:

sometime in my rewrite when zianna goes to phoenix drop, alina and lilith think of her as their grandma and this makes zianna so happy bc she has always wanted grandkids (even though alina and lilith aren’t really her grandkids, she stills loves them.)

i imagine when she goes somewhere and alina and lilith are there, the two of them just shout “gramma!” or something and zianna nearly burst into tears (of happiness)
