So there's an implication in s1 that Levin is Garroth's kid right? And he doesn't remember Levin's mother? So how do you think he felt when he came out of the irene dimension and saw a mirror looking back at him? Do you think he flinches to see Levin sometimes because he's looking more and more like Garroth every day, and in turn, Garroth is looking more and more like Garte? Do you think he despairs at what it means, that he had a love and a family ripped from him so harshly he doesn't even remember them. Do you think he looks for Matilda, 15 years too late, only to find she had perished long ago at the hands of Zenix.

Do you think he looks back and despairs, that all of the suffering that has befallen his loved ones, he alone has been the long, twisted, common thread?

HELLO WELCOME BACK TO MY RAMBLES

on today's agenda i got species and races of MCD (i am well aware i'm missing some but maybe ill explain at a later date those)

just made small doodles to explain, anyways, onward with the ramble!

Werewolves

They have bigger ears and tail compared to mei'fwas

More based on direwolves

Their claws are permanent, unlike mei'fwas

They can also turn into a more wolfish version of themselves (ie. similar to Bodolf and werewolves of the tribes)

In this universe the ultima does exist but it's a bit different than the other werewolves (still a wip xD)

There's the North and Southern tribes located east of the region. The Moonlight Ward which is located center of the region and Greyholt (the small wolf monarchy from S2) which is located south of the region.

Mei'fwa

They have smaller and more cat-like features, especially body parts like paws (both hands and feet) and whiskers

They're from the Tu'la region (which in my rewrite has more asian inspired culture)

Fur runs across multiple parts of their bodies

Retractable claws!

They have a 'sixth sense' which makes Mei'fwas empaths, they feel and read the emotions of others better

Avis

Birdfolk? In my rewrite? YES

It felt fitting in a sense

Avis are from the Gal'ruk region, living north of the region in the harsh mountains, but safe from intruders

They have wing 'ears', wings, tail feathers and talons

Depending on the kind of bird they are, they cannot fly

They do not migrate when winter hits (considering they live in a cold region), but they do hibernate

Cadenza is turned into one after reverting the chicken spell

Faes

They're more human like in terms of anatomy, only having pointy ears, small horns and a tail

From a small island north of Tu'la

Faes are more spiritually guided though, being in touch with nature in a way no other races are

They protect nature, and in return it aids them (ie. a small story point of Levin i have yet to post)

Faes fear the undead (by extension shadow knights) due to their spirits in turmoil

They have more passive magicks, but the extent of them are unknown

Forest Elves

Often confused for fae, forest elves (or wood elves) are specifically the most common race among elves

They live in the Yggdrasil Forest, a one off island west of Ru'aun where the trees are sacred

Common elves aren't allowed the knowledge of magic (ie. reason for Zoey's banishment)

High Elves

(the dude i drew is apparently zoey's ex-husband)

Mostly considered different due to their extensive magical abilities and knowledge of magic

All known high elves are part of the Elven Council

High elves are pretty snobby, don't @ me it's true (they just give those vibes smh)

Outing with Matilda and Garroth.

My art always looks way better in my sketchbook before I color it in digitally so I'm trying something new.

Art for an mcd au I'm thinking about where basically:

Aphmau (known as Aphina) is summoned to the world few years earlier than in the original, and is quite a bit younger(lore reasons), get's adopted my Malik and Matilda and grows up as sort of adopted/sworn siblings with Garroth and Zenix.

Bonus: original doodle from class + our girl after a shopping trip

Here’s the last batch of MCD art I’ve drawn recently (as in, from these last few years) that I haven’t drawn for TikToks.

I think it’s crazy that I’ve never seen a Malik headcanon, so I decided to give it a try. Also, to explain the last picture, this is how I imagine Garrance meeting again unexpectedly in S3 would be, but also a bit silly.

Has anyone ever wrote anything about Matilda (Levin's bio-mother) corpse being found after the central gang goes missing? Like she was left in scaleswind? Because if not I know what I'm publishing on halloween

So I get the criticism for the 'Garroth is Levin's dad' theory that Garroth - 'loyalty and chivalry' - Ro'meave wouldn't have an affair with the Lord's wife but what if he didn't?

What if Garroth and Matilda were together first? We have no idea what Malik was like as a lord, nobody could remember to tell us, and lords in this universe seem to be pretty powerful - they don't exactly have governments. What if Malik chose Matilda as his wife knowing full well her and his newbie nobody guard Garroth were together?

We all know what Garroth does further down the line but what if, before that, angsty Garroth - 'loyalty and chivalry' - Ro'meave, straight out of the guard academy and giving up all he knew, just thought it was his fate to always have to give up what he loved. Matilda was powerless to do anything and Garroth doing anything would be considered treasonous to his lord so he let them go.

When Matilda had a child they both knew who the father was but kept quiet to keep Levin safe. And the night the lord's house was burnt down perhaps Garroth was the one to usher Matilda and Levin to safety, sending them away in the night with promises that he would find them; promises which would be broken to the woman he loved but was forced to forget and the child he never got to name.

Maybe this loss was why Garroth latches so strongly onto Zenix as a father figure. And maybe, in a certain light, he gets deja vu to look at Levin's face and never quite knows why.
