Hey fellas!!! Wham bam pow or whatever! I’m Loony Lupin on Twitter- I’m sure half you all don’t know me though 😔
Either way I want McLennon proof and I mean every aspect. The love, lust, obsession, hate, anger, frustration, self loathing, sadness.
Because that’s what makes it beautiful and special to us in the end of the day :)
john -> joan (who was quizzical ) -> jane (red ) -> june (paul birth month ) -> jude -> hey jude ✅ checkmate straighties !! he loves him ya ya ya
Its interesting to me how when they had each other, John and Paul were emotionally distant with Cyn and Jane but when they didnt have each other they were incredibly clingy and codependent with Yoko and Linda.
Yeah, TBH that’s the biggest evidence of them being more than just friends.
They no longer had each other for support after their ‘break up’ so they put all their needs on their significant others.
I mean, making Linda learn the keyboards so she can be his musical partner on stage!? AND Yoko, I guess you can call that music? Bottom line, they needed these women to fill the void of losing your ‘partner’ I mean that in every sense of the word.
McLennon Proof? Maybeee...
Hi! So I’m new to the McLennon fandom, so please do tell me if my proof is debunkable because although I am a Beatles fan, I sadly don’t know every detail of their songwriting history :( so please take it easy and if it’s debunked I’ll delete the post :)
So, recently I was listening to Paperback Writer and I decided to go on its Wikipedia page to read up about it, and here is a line that caught me off guard:
“In a 2007 interview, McCartney recalled that he started writing the song after reading in the Daily Mail about an aspiring author, possibly Martin Amis. The Daily Mail was Lennon's regular newspaper and copies were in Lennon's Weybridge home when Lennon and McCartney were writing songs.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paperback_Writer
Okay, my brain immediately jumped to Paul spending time with John at Weybridge together, and one time Paul is there, perhaps over breakfast that John had made, Paul reads the Daily Mail and discovers that article. Then I burst my fantasy by thinking that Paul just came over to write songs and PW was one of them so I decided to search up which Beatles songs were written in Weybridge.
And based on this article: https://www.greatbritishlife.co.uk/things-to-do/john-lennon-the-beatles-and-music-history-in-weybridge-7121578 PW wasn’t written there...
So does that mean John would bring his newspaper to work and Paul happened to read through them as well and find the article that inspired PW? If that’s true, then what a coincidence! But if we look at it from a McLennon lens, perhaps the two spent a lot of time together at Weybridge, and Paul would read the Daily Mail with John and write songs together :)
Anyway, have a lovely day y’all x
does anyone have the link to this post???
People might have already told you but John wrote a smutty story about visiting a 'woman'in Paris except it was full of gay references, the 'woman' wanted to play God Only Knows during sex and John said after a few happy years, they parted in a seething rage but still thinks of 'her.' I find it the strongest evidence that McLennon was not only real but they had a physical relationship. I used to think John just had an unrequited crush until I read this story.
You’re telling me he wrote about a wo/man?
Okay as obvious as this post might turn out to be I just want to emphasize it because lately I've been thinking about mclennon whilst craving chocolate and feeling super single and when I look back at the clips of Nowhere Boy and Two Of Us I just... Okay before I get into my theory, if you haven't seen the movies at all like, you've never seen a scene from those two movies in your life then I'd like for you to see these clips first:
Okay, continue reading as soon as you've finished watching each video completely.
×××
You finished? Good. Now, after you've seen those clips, I'd like you to try and tell me that you didn't see one bit of gay tension between the two. CAUSE I'M PRETTY SURE I'VE SEEN STRAIGHTER THINGS.
No, I'm not saying that the actors are gay for each other but obviously, they are acting like that for a reason. Why you ask? The directors. The directors. My point is that for some gosh darn diddly dang reason, I'm getting this feeling that the directors seriously know. And if not know, then believe that there really was something romantic going on between them.
Like come on, you're gonna tell me that in Nowhere Boy, the way Paul looked at John when he put his glasses on wasn't, I don't know, just a tad bit more than friendly? Aaron (John) and Thomas (Paul) were told to act like that to be more into character (and to portray John and Paul's relationship better), no? And the kiss scene in Two Of Us?? Two Of Us was actually directed by someone who worked with The Beatles (Michael Lindsay Hogg).
I suppose most of the McLennon fandom knows of this and are probably staring at me with the whole 'no-sh!t-sherlock' look so I guess this post is more dedicated to new McLennon shippers, but obviously still for the whole fandom to see (also dedicated to all you shippers like me who just love to analize every little interaction between John and Paul UwU).
If the directors really are trying to point out something between John and Paul though (which we already know of), I hope they know that there's a group of people out there who already caught on with their hints.
