he orients himself rather easily after a few moments
but he does have a little freak out when he realizes that his magic just. doesn’t work.
he forgets constantly → some dude bumps into him and he yells “off with your head” and then has to just stand there Facing The ConsequencesTM

listen he can deal with other people being magicless (after all, that’s a good 95% of the twisted wonderland population) what he can’t deal with is HIMSELF being magicless
also he doesn’t have his Emotional Support Trey with him so what is he even doing anymore
i think he could figure it out and eventually adapt to the scenario, but i think he’d miss his magic and his authority (people are much more prone to making fun of your height if you aren’t in a position of power sadly)

he’s mostly upset that not only does he have to do everything himself now, but he has to do it without magic

what does he do? well, surrender to the flow of capitalism, of course!
azul figures it out because he uses his Business SkillsTM to find somebody to hire him
he has no magic which SUCKS because he can’t make any deals and eventually he’ll have to deal with the whole octopus thing but for now he’s chilling
i think he would do the best adapting wise
at least, until the merpotion fades
then i think he’d be kinda lonely in the ocean :( like there’s nobody there
it’d be hard to change back i mean maybee he could do it bc he’s one smart cookie but idk somehow i doubt those same ingredients work the same without the twst magic yk?

oh an adventure !! kalim loves adventure !!
he probably gets scammed out of something in like ten seconds lets be real (but jokes on them all he has in his wallet is 3000 thaumarks and a comically large folded up photo jamil with the words “DON’T DO IT KALIM” scribbled on the back)
speaking of jamil now that he’s gone what is kalim going to eat ???? :(
kalim walks into a mcdonalds and asks if the food is poisoned and the burnt out teenager at the cash register goes “honestly yeah but it’s five bucks” and kalim goes “oh !! i found five bucks by the bus stop!” and now he has mcdonalds :) he has to take a second to get brave enough to eat it but when he realizes it’s not poisoned it’s just shit food he feels a little better
