MCR ARLINGTON

So, I was super fortunate and got to go to MCR for the August 2nd show. I had originally bought some nosebleeds back in November when they first put tickets on sale, but I ended up upgrading my tickets to floor seats and honestly it was one of the best decisions ever. I had a decent view of the stage but my view of b stage was fantastic! It was Ray's side of the stage and I had such a good view of him for most of the set. You probably can't tell from the photos but it really was so good. Not to mention, they played Kill All Your Friends and I was freaking out. I wanted that one so much, but never thought they would actually play it. Honestly, best night ever. Despite getting super dehydrated and overheated and almost passing out on the way back to the car and then having to drive the 4 hour drive home. It's okay, though. It was so much fun.

I made bracelets to trade and my sister and I got to trade/give them all away! I'm so glad. The bracelets were art therapy for me. Here's the pictures of all the ones I made.

And then I got a few bracelets and someone was trading band photos! So, these are the ones I got in return. (Excuse the cat hair. I need to chom chom my bed.) Someone had a pumpkin peasy bracelet and that's one of my favorite Gerard quotes. I can't tell you how happy I was that they still had that one to trade. They were all so cool and everyone was so sweet about trading. And people were so nice and said my bracelets were pretty. Omg it made me so, so happy. But here are the bracelets I got from trading! I love this fanbase so much.

I apparently took over 450 photos and videos throughout the night. I was doing my best to be respectful to people around me and keep my phone about chest height. We were in the last row of the section, so there wasn't anyone directly behind us, but I didn't want to block anyone's view. Unfortunately, other people didn't feel the same way, but that's okay! We all paid a bunch of money to be there. If people are happy, then I'm happy. But here's some photos of my view! We were so close that every time they sent up a plume of fire, we could feel the heat from it. I had a really good view of the side screen so while I was watching the stage, I would take pictures/video of the big screen, so I might share some of my videos later, but just know sometimes my hand would slip a bit since I wasn't watching the phone screen. But here's some photos! The dictator had a cowboy hat and of course Gerard made a Kennedy assassination joke. But OMG they were all so happy to be there. Like I saw them smiling so often and it brought me such joy. I really can't describe just how much it meant to me. And at points, everyone was screaming so loud to the lyrics I could barely hear Gerard. But the energy from that crowd was absolutely mind-blowing. Especially during Welcome to the Black Parade and Helena. Like everyone was just so happy. I want to go back, but I also hope we get another tour. I really want to see them again.
