      𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄 ⵑ A typical ( occasional ) outing to Nod - Krai was interrupted by an unfamiliar voice. The presence of others was not unfamiliar to them nor alarming, but instead the stranger's choice of words. They first regard him with a slightly - raised brow, & their face very quickly adopts a neutral expression — less they show early on how stunned they were at how . . . easily he spoke those words. The confidence was something they seldom encountered.

The woman smiles under her heavy hood. It is a smile that has been there since the start of this encounter, before it and after it, and will be there for everything she witnesses - just like the words she had uttered a scant few minutes ago.

"You are free to believe me or to disbelieve. To doubt or to debate or to discard. For that is the very purpose of what I have given you—of prophecies." She laughs, a gentle sound, as she gestures a hand out to him. "At the end of the day and at the end of time itself, a prophecy is but a prophecy - a description. And in the hands of no audience, it is useless. Hence, it must be heard, it must be discussed, it must be acted upon in some manner.

"There does not have to be any 'reason' - besides the one that the receiver ascribes, if they so wish." Another soft giggle, as her hand retreats back to her side. "So. You are free to do as you wish, while I still stand by my statement - that the whole world shall eventually burn."

The girl's eyebrow immediately twitches. Frankly, Tonia doesn't care if she doesn't seem impressive or even recognizable - not like she's dealing with politicians or soldiers or basically work, where her identity can be a pretty handy tool.

But this tall weirdo instinctively tickles her brain in a way she doesn't appreciate, and so, like any good teenager with more impulsive than restraint—she has to argue!

"And I think you're tall and ugly and stupid, which is also not very impressive." Tonia folds her arms and eyes him like his fashion choices are the worst thing she's ever seen in, like, ever. "I bet you're actually super duper lame, with an even lamer name and life. It probably makes mine seem way cooler by sheer comparison."

      𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐓 saw a particularly rare bird perched on a branch behind Dheane, & it was worried that it would be frightened by their noise - making & fly off ? Which . . . it has, sadly, & the look Milek must have been ' giving ' its older companion ( without blinking ) might have been a too intense. Sighing, the adventurer shook its head — arms crossed over chest.
