The road to appreciate Jake Gyllenhaal acting skill and overall his crafts as an actor also to prepare for far from home, for new fans, I don't know, who isn't aware (yet) of his talent or never watch his movies.

This man can play anything, as anyone, as convincing as you possibily could imagine. Since I've watched most of his movies, so I am listing 10 of his best performance/most favorite movies of mine. (In order of I like best to the least)

1. Brokeback mountain

This movie is simply a classic, a must watch, Jake played Jack twist so effortlessly, from his young age until he turned gray, playing old character so convicingly when at that time he was still quite young. Don't make me start with the longing and his portrayal of heart broken, unfulfilled desire to be with someone he loved.

2. Southpaw

I've never been so hype and cried so much in a boxing movie than this one. [Maybe creed II lol and I've watched a lot of boxing movies] (Plus eminem make a soundtrack for this movie, well I'm just sold)

3. Nightcrawler

Playing a creepy obsessive news seeker, well you couldn't be more creep out than watching him played a character that looks like he had sold his own soul to a demon or didn't have one in the first place. (Deserve an Oscar for this seriously)

4. Source Code.

Time travel!!!! That just about it, you need to watch it to understand the intensity of it. The best.

5. Nocturnal Animals

Well, this movie is just so poetic on its own, poignant to the bone, will make you cry and make you feel things you don't want to feel, probably will feel hollow in your soul and deep regret after watching it. Revenge never taste this good and bitter when served cold.

6. Prince of Persia

Time Travel!! What more do you want? Jake fighting as a prince through the movie, well you just need to enjoy it.

7. Prisoners

Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman kind of teaming up to solve crime? You don't want to miss it.

8.Brothers.

I have like love and hate relationship with this movie, but overall I love it, but I hate it because of the misunderstanding and all, that's just the plot lol.

9. Donnie Darko

Well, apocalypse, spooky wookie stuff meet rabbit that follow you around? Ready to have so much question after watching a movie? Then watch this! He was still so green here but his acting in this movie just shown that he will have a great future as an actor because he got the skill for it.

10. Enemy

Jake stalking himself, arguing with himself? And overall just being frustrated with himself, the weirdest movie ever! But I think you should watch it too. Because acting skill!!!

The sister brothers (explorer and make friend with Riz Ahmed, also Joaquin Phoenix !! I LOVE THIS)

Zodiac (Jake with Mark Rufallo! RDJ!!!!! Solving the unsolved crime!!)

Jarhead (Jake in a movie with his brother in law as a soldier, kind of heart breaking too)

The day after tomorrow (young jake!! Apocalypse theme again, stuck in the building under the snow)

Highway (Jake Gyllenhaal with Jared Leto being bestfriend together)

Love and other drugs (Jake teaming up again with Anna hattaway after brokeback mountain to play lovers! Kind of sweet and Sad)

Okja (you might not even recognize him here lol with Tilda swinton! The creepiest duo lol)

Didn't expect to see captain marvel teaming up with Killmonger in Just Mercy , the movie look so good, can't wait for December!
