amount of sleep: 5 hrs. Usually I get more than that but I didn't got to bed until 3:30 am and then I was watching the last 5 years with Violet this morning. WOOF HOW AM I STILL ALIVE RIGHT NOW.

dream job: Author. I mean I also kind of have my dream job as a teacher but it is so hard right now cus of Covid.

currently wearing: Champion sweatshirt, yoga pants cus it’s Sunday night and I’ve been home all day.

favorite instrument: I think guitar. I can’t play any instruments but my husband plays guitar and I love singing with him.

Not really academic related, but kinda is(?)

I’ll finish my exams (mid June) and I’ll find out if I get into uni in mid August I’m thinking about to come out my family either after the exam season or after the uni results. I don’t know which one would be better.

I’m been procrastinating coming out for a few years now and I believe it would be okay. So I want to do it.

But I don’t know when would be better to do it. I don’t want them to think I’m doing it because I’m emotionally overwhelmed.

"Oppa, help me with this problem," you whined as you pushed your heavy mathbook toward your older friend. 

He looked up from his phone with a raised eyebrow before following your finger where you were pointing. 

"Problem 3156?" he mumbled and you nodded desperately as his forehead puckered in concentration as he read the question. 

"Well you need to find y", he said and it would seem like he was about to continue to speak but that was it. 

"Yeah, I know," you sighed and ran a hand through your long hair, "I just don't remember the method you have to use to solve it. Can you explain?" 

He breathed in through his teeth as he tilted his head, "uh, yeah sure," he cleared his throat before pointing at the long equation. "You see, it's algebra so you have to… um, you know," he hesitated, "well, you multiply this… no, wait I mean subtract… no, that not it…" he mumbled the last part before signing as he looked down at you. "I'm sorry, _____," his eyes cast down like he was embarrassed as he scratched the back of his head. "I don't know either."

"But Oppa," you murmured softly and let yourself pout, "you've graduated, you should now this." 

He bit his lip and looked away and it was like you could see how his cheeks visibly reddened. "you're right, I should." A cheeky smile appeared on his lips as he turned back to you again, "but did I ever tell you that math wasn't my strongest subject? I hate studying." 

You nodded understandingly but that didn't stop your facial expression from showing your disappointment- who would help you know? 

"I'm sorry, little one, that I can't be to help," his smile faded and he gave your book back to you. “But if you want, I can call Namjoon hyung, he’s pretty good at math.”

You quickly shook your head, “No-no-no! Don’t bug him, I’ll just see if there’s any good explanation on Youtube.” 

Jungkook laughed softly as you pulled up your phone in a hurry, not wanting to be a bother to anyone. “So cute,” he mumbled under his breath while you hastily scrolled through the youtube page, “____, no really, it’s nothing and hyung’ll be happy to help.”

You started to say something but with one look he shut you up before reaching to call his friend. With a quick conversation, he finished up. “He said he’ll help you tomorrow and text you the details later.”

“Thank you so much,” you whispered with a shy smile at his consideration. 

“No problem, I’m happy I could be useful,” he grinned and laid a big hand on your shoulder before lightly stroking it with his thumb and you swallowed hard, “you know apart from my mom you’re my favorite girl, you know that right?” 

At his words, your heart swelled in your chest but you forced out a soft laugh. Your huge crush on him only seemed to grow every single day, and as you looked back into his warm brown eyes- you knew you were a goner. 

You smiled brightly back at him before signing, oh God, you couldn’t wait to graduate, to finish school and make Jungkook look at you as an adult. Oh, only if he knew how you felt...
