SELF-CARE SATURDAY
Hi friends!
I wanna share my incredible saturday morning with you! Today was just an ALL ME DAY! I rarely have days with no plans at all. I always either have school, work or hang out with my boyfriend. Don’t get me wrong, I like to have something to wake up to everyday, I like school, I like to work and I absolutely love spending time with my boyfriend, it’s my favorite thing! But I also think it’s important to just have a me day every once in awhile. I think everyone needs a me day. A day where you just get to do whatever you feel like, whether it’s laying in bed all day, or doing productive things. It’s important to take some time off and take care of yourself.

Today I let myself sleep until I woke up, no alarms. I woke around 8.30 am and I just chilled in my bed for around 30 minutes before I got up. I usually always get up around 7 to do my workout before online school starts. I absolutely LOVE working out in the morning. It makes me feel amazing and motivated for the rest of the day. If you haven’t already tried doing your workout in the morning, I 100% recommend you trying it!

Since I had NO plans today I had time to do a longer workout, which I was really excited about, because I love working out and it makes me feel incredible after, plus it gets me one step closer to my goal. Today was ab-day. I have made my own 11 minute ab-workout that I have done 3-4 times a week for almost 2 months now. After doing my own ab-workout I did Pamela Reif’s 10 minute ab workout which was amazing! I love Pamela Reif’s workouts, they’re killer! I also did her 10 minute back workout. Doing back and arm workouts is very new to me, it’s something is just started doing. Adding youtube-workouts into my workout routine is also a new thing that I started doing, and I love it! I try to do a new one every time.

After my workout I took a looong and relaxing shower, and put on some comfortable clothes. I had my favorite breakfast at the moment, I actually shared the recipe yesterday! (link to the recipe)
I finished my morning off with a 1.7 mile walk, where I listened to my FAVORITE music! That’s really therapy for the soul.
