I like to keep naming themes when a family has one, but this family has two. I've decided that blondes will have Nordic mythology names and redheads will have Greek mythology names. In case they have any more children.
The Beaker family of Oasis Springs are… strange, to say the least. The family is made up of vindictive matriarch Circe, devoted but cruel Loki, effortlessly perfect Medea, and freethinking but uptight Calliope. Behind the facade of a seemingly normal family is a slew of questions. What is their deal with the Curious family? Is there any relation between these Beakers and the tech-savvy twins down the road who share their surname? Why does it seem by all accounts that Loki and Circe haven’t aged in decades? And most importantly, will old grudges get in the way of the twins’ political and romantic ambitions?
We start off this round with Nervous cleaning his cell. To be honest I should probably have just left it as it was, it really couldn’t get any less disgusting.
Meanwhile Loki and Circe skill upstairs in luxury.
Loki heads out to work.

Maybe she’ll feel better with something in her stomach?
Nervous makes himself a ready meal, his cell has all the modern conveniences.
Eating did not help. But at least that’s a good place to vomit.
I would almost say poor Circe, becuase I’ve never seen a Sim so sick but it’s Circe so...

Circe lets Nervous out to skill, so she and Loki can steal those skill points. Doesn’t mean she has to play fair though.

But her carpool driver decides to selflessly rid the Sim world of her evil.
Since Circe failed to lock him back up, Nervous makes himself some delicious Grilled Cheese (it is so easy to keep him happy with that Secondary Aspiration)
Even when Loki steals the skill points he literally just learned.

Meanwhile nervous learns some skills the Beakers can’t steal. Or is he planning something?

And Loki comes home with a promotion to Scholar and a fantastic sneer.

By this point Circe was actually several hours overdue, which in Sim time is probably a few weeks? So I gave her an Espresso to see if that helped.
What do you know? It worked!
I feel that Circe looks far too happy during that process, she seems like the type of woman who would’ve been screaming expletives from the first contraction.

And Medea. I was really hoping for a redhead but their only difference so far is eye colour.
And with the parasites out, Circe heads back to work.
