thanks to a bad chance card, loki will be spending a lot more time at home with the baby. this does give circe a chance to focus on her career, and maybe loki will try his hand at the robotics bench.
While making medicine for a bout of food poisoning, Circe is spooked by Loki’s ghost leaping out of the machine. Cyclotron is powered down and nobody’s around to see her pee her pants; she’s still utterly mortified and wonders if she’s lost her edge.
Lettice is a teen and very proud of her eyeliner. She hasn’t inherited magic from Nervous but she definitely has his eyes, and the downturned shape can be hard to work with!
Erin, Frida and Pixie move in and get to know the household. Agreeing to this is another reason for Circe to conclude she’s gone soft.
The third group of Weirdspot kids moved off to college. They spent the first few days getting their bearings, building their skills and getting to know each other.
Soooo...Nervous was sick with food poisoning (and I don't know why, he didn't eat crap or anything burnt...Maybe he eat for the trash bin when I was not looking?) Idk, but I just realized when I saw Pascal crying a lot, since both are trying to have some woohoo sessions.

By this point Circe was actually several hours overdue, which in Sim time is probably a few weeks? So I gave her an Espresso to see if that helped.

Which is embarrassing for Viggo, who has a crush on June, and surprising for June, who didn’t know Viggo was a vampire in the first place. She just thought he hated going outside!
The family hires a butler (Nervous’ idea to free up Cy’s time... Circe figures why not have more help?). It’s Scott Darga, of course. Cyclotron has just one question: how does Mr. Darga service so many households at once? “Well, Master Cyclotron, a butler never reveals his secrets...”
Lettice becomes best friends with Nobel Curious. The Curious vs Beaker household divide seems to be melting away.
Circe is promoted to senior officer in the Strangetown military division. She tells her familiar Freya that her plan to run the science division is going smoothly. All she has to do right now is keep working on her fitness. (Sidenote, she has fangs and I have no idea why! Perhaps she’s from a part-vampire family).
Cyclotron fulfills his LTW to have ten best friends. Now that he’s made connections outside of the Beaker household, he wants to be a protector of Strangetown. He imagines flying through the sky like Captain Hero, the protagonist of the books he used to read to Atom, Ceres and Viggo, and now reads to Lettice. Speaking of books, he attempts to read Nervous’ book of shadows. It bites him. Rude!
Inspired by Circe’s commitment to her workout routine, Loki studies physiology and couples counselling.
I sent Loki and the kids to a community lot where Loki got into an argument with Tara Kat while Jorm rocked out in the bar. Loki bowled a couple of frames and then took the kids to the diner for a meal.
