Heels clacked as Widowmaker stalked her intended kidnapee. It had been a while of close watching for her to catch him while he wasn’t surrounded by people.
It was hard to apprehend a celebrity, but Talon wanted him. They needed him.
Her gun remained strapped to her back. She was forbidden to use it-- only her mines and grapple were allowed, and once she was to capture him, she would immediately call for back up.
Perhaps this wasn’t a one-person job.
Not like her ideas were ever taken to account, though. She hated how respectful Talon personnel acted around her when she had no power. Hopefully this mission would change that. Once she got to Lucio, she would show no mercy.
She located him, grapple at the ready to bind him.
“That was a lovely show you put on tonight, cherie. May I have an encore?”

Solitude. Her old and also only friend that kept her company for decades. The bittersweet and familiar feeling returned and seemed to stay for a while. Just like back in her days in prison, Joe thought bitterly and quietly to herself while sitting in the room that was assigned to her.
Nothing special. A bed, a desk, a chair. Quite spare, but at least she had a window here, though it was locked. They really wanted to keep track of her and stop her from escaping. Her glance went down to her ankle and her new permanent companion, an electronic tag, keeping track of every movement she made.
A frustrated sigh escaped her as she sat on the bed, stared at the blank wall in front of her. Yes, she deserted Talon. Yes, she ran over to Overwatch. No, she didn’t do that by her own choice, but it was the only option that avoided her going back behind bars. Joe didn’t trust them. They didn’t trust her. A cooperation seemed unlikely and yet they had to work together somehow. The self-proclaimed genius would’ve helped them in their matters and needs, but they didn’t let her near any laboratory without supervision - and even then she wasn’t allowed to touch anything or even do anything.
They wasted her talent. How petty.
A sudden knock on her door pulled her out of her thoughts. She jerked up and turned her head. Someone was visiting her, apparently. Joe frowned. Initially she wanted to ignore that, ignore the person waiting outside in hope they would go away after a while. But first, she was bored out of her mind with nothing to do. Second, she had to lie if she said that she wasn’t curious who it was.
A moment later she opened the door - and was visibly surprised. That was a face she didn’t expect. Leaning against the doorframe, she glanced down on the Brazilian musician. “....You were... that strange frogboy?” She opined, avoiding to admit that she didn’t know his name. “What do you want?”
“I’ve embraced tranquility.”
