I just tore up my Daxos Commander, because people kept suggesting to swap the Commander-Card, and after getting some inspiration in today’s tournament (and people having a far too easy time to cockblock his second ability) I finally followed that suggestion after trying not to for quite a while.
My playgroup rarely does EDH, so my Commander decks are pretty casual. I haven’t put that much thought or money into building the awesome combo decks I hear about, but I have 2 decks: Medomai the Ageless, and Jhiora of the Ghitu. I have a soft spot in my heart for Medomai, so I usually end up playing that deck. One time while we were playing, I lent my Jhiora deck to a buddy and he puts out Jhiora turn three, then turn four suspends Omniscience and Warstorm Surge. By the time four turns go by all he has on board is a Gelectrode. He drops curiousity onto Gelectrode, and then proceeds to take the longest, and most epic turn ever. He ended up dealing over 180 damage, with several more cards left to cast, and an extra turn saved up that he didn’t even need.
-And this, my friends and followers, is why Izzet can be explosively terrifying.

If I imprint a medomai, the ageless one on to a mimic vat. Do I get an infinite turn loop?
No.
Medomai can't attack in any extra turns, not just the ones he creates.
Pulled one of these from a booster pack. I am trying to decide if this is worth playing, or not. I love the idea of extra turns... but I don't have a deck as of right now that's blue and white. I was thinking about a bant deck recently. I just haven't decided what I need to make it effective.
Of course it doesn't help that I can't afford hundreds of dollars in multi-color lands, so I have to stick with guildgates, and transguild promenades...
