"he would not fucking say that" but about injuries. he would not fucking recover that quickly. those scars would not fucking heal like that. he would not be fucking able bodied after that. he would not be fully lucid after that.
(It might can be changed or confirmed again after rayman legends retold release)
Regardless of what others might think of Raymesis, I really enjoy discussing headcanons with people—it’s so much fun! It helps generate more interest in Raymesis he deserves so much more love
My personal take on this character honestly varies depending on the general lore of the "universe" I'm writing for.
A couple of key factors to consider are which Games are being considered, how many other clones are there (e.g. Origins and Legends having a total of 3, R1 "Bad Rayman" being a spell not a person, etc.), whether or not OCs are involved at all, etc.
But among all those different takes, the most fun I found to be having with the Raymesis from the Dream Catcher series who scews more to the left option than the right but also not really?
That character is a personality that just likes punching for the sake of violence, not because he hates Rayman or anyone for that matter, just because he thinks it's FUN in its own right. He'd punch anyone and not differentiate between friend of foe. The basis for this is layed out by the fact that he's a playable character in the newer games with the same enemies the good guys are facing.
The SECOND he's offered powers though, the bar immediately sways todwards "You mean I get to be BETTER than that shitty hero guy? Hell yes count me in!" not for the sake of a grander purpose, but just for the sake of getting to upstage the hero he is based on.
He was such a little shit in the best way possible, a menace with relentless drive - every scene with him was a riot, and I was actively looking forward to them xD
(It doesn't help that my Main OC was built on the kind of role that later iterations of him were popularly displayed to have, so a part of me wanted to differentiate the two from each other as their own individual personalities :) )
Who is your favorite canon disabled character from Guild Wars 1/2?

☝️🤓 it’s because the further you move toward the earth’s poles, the lower the angle of the sun is at the hottest parts of the day, meaning the radiation hits your whole body, causing it to feel 10-20 degrees warmer than the thermometer reading will tell you. People from tropical climes, aka close to the equator, are used to the sun’s radiation hitting a much smaller target- their head and shoulders.
Also the further you move toward the poles the more pronounced the difference between the length of day and night is. Worst part of a far-north (or south) heatwave is it doesn’t get dark long enough for meaningful cooling.
It’s not the heat. It very literally is the sun.
