A varnished fox skull now lives in my pedal board thanks to two ratbags Will & Jarvis who collect skulls on their farm. Not even in their teens yet and they built their own forge to hammer out a knife blade. When they play minecraft, they play it outside with real stuff. Pretty sure they don't come home until the street lights turn on. Anyway, the skull sits next to 2 of many @medoramps guitar effects pedals that another ratbag, of the same mental age bracket as above, hand built from the bin of life! Pretty much all good stuff aaaaaaaaay! .... .... Thanks to Jules @medoramps for building and modifying great guitar effects pedals that are very much the laxative chocolates of the noise metal world. If you are a guitarist, bass player, noise merchant, you'd be crazy not to check out his @medoramps page and YouTubes and have a red hot squizz at his work. All too often Aussie musos tend to reach overseas when there's perfectly excellent work here in your backyard. Management had their bifocals knocked clear off their strings when they saw this shot by Scrurry McBinjubes of @amnplify from the @rickdangerousband gig recently. Scurry is mostly known for his work in the Dandenong Best n Less catalogues, but this gig he pushed his disposable camera to the limit! We sure hope he used a waterproof housing as Sam is pictured here looking as hot as a cat's bum on a sun drenched porch, and the blistering crowd of a baker's dozen, average age 73, were piffin their crusty gruts on stage like a Tom Jones tribute band as proof of said summer sizzlin rectal action! It was a hot BBQ of riff sausages and fried bunions on the dance floor that bingo afternoon; pacemakers pounding, walking frames flying and hearing aids cranking out additional feedback for heavy meddle effect, it was all as loose as the crowd's aging bowels! Anyway, as the dust settled, mothballs were being smoked, broken dentures gathered from the moshpit floor and shandies joyfully sculled in the 12 seater ride home. Not only did the plucky punters stay out to way after 7pm, they got home to catch a rerun marathon of The Rockford Files with the ads cut out! Nana left a note on the bureau asking for a pack of filterless Camels and a sixey of Vodka and Cabbage UDLs for brekkie or don't we dare be on the couch when she wakes!
