Something satisfying about Subspace and Medkit being perfect opposites in Deer in Headlights. Medkit is upper class and privileged and basically got his position as head of medical and crystal research department for free, Subspace worked his ass off and the only reason he got in on the project last minute was because of a fuckass pipe bomb he made in his basement lol.
Quite the dichotomy.
Totally get these people from way different backgrounds, put them against eachother and condition them to compete, isolate them from society in a remote research facility and force them to work in tandem for years with varying ideas. Surely nothing bad will happen.

I find it funny how I noticed only now that on 2 previous arts-sketches of Madkit he didn't have ears which I usually give Medkit, but anyway.
So, yep, it's Subspace's spawnday, so I decided to "include" him here (and prompts were fitting anyway.)

None of the prompts are particularly triggering for me but I do reserve the right to not fill a request if it doesn’t fit the AU or makes me uncomfortable at the time
For the cult prompt I do request no religion based cults just because of personal trauma 🥴

Day 16 under cut and yappucino about where I've been.
So I'm back from my holidays in Greece. Posting was a bit harder there as you can imagine so I had to significantly slow down my work. I still have days 12 and 13 complete so that's smth. Day 14 & 15 will be a combined painting, I haven't gotten around to it yet though.

But I would've js quickly doodled a shitty silly medeer and be over with it and this is so much funnier lmao. No I'm not human is a good game.
To yap a bit about the art and bwd au because I feel like it. Medkit as we know is on the run im this times 2. Umbrella is the closest confidant of Firebrand and trusted ally of The Swords. I feel like at first they'd try to take care of the issue (cough Med) secretly by hiring mercenaries, including the infamous Hyperlaser. Didn't quite work out tho with Med's entire immortal agenda.
