Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

After perusing my latest work, I think I'm really weak for a character first rejecting then reluctantly accepting comfort from another character. There's just something very special about thinking you don't deserve or need something until you realise that yes, in fact, you do.

What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

I've noticed a low-key streak of humour running through most of my works, but I rarely write something outright funny, I think... However, I have this line I'm oddly endeared by (from a finished fic I'll post next week):

Seeing as he currently had an armful of purring tooka - which could quickly turn into vindictive tooka when displaced too rudely - Cody nodded.

Teehee alright then 😊 I like to think of writing as painting/making music with words sometimes, and I think I have a few works with which I achieved peak rhythm and colour!!

Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?

I rarely do, it distracts me too much - except when there are even more distracting sounds in my vicinity, then I'll put in my earphones and listen to a movie soundtrack or something (Samuel Kim's Star Wars soundtrack mixes are really good for that).

Tell me about an up and coming wip please!

Oh uuuh I have to be careful to talk about one I'm allowed to talk about lmao. I've signed up to a few bangs and exchanges and stuff - top secret. However, I'm really excited about my WIPs for various prompt weeks!! I've got a nsfw one in the works for RexWalker week, in which Rex is put in the slave outfit from the Zygerrian arc instead of Ahsoka heheh *rubs hands* Poor boy, I just like to make him uncomfortable.

Who is your favorite character to write?

Every character I write is my favourite, though I have a preference for emotionally unintelligent and/or snarky rat bastards sometimes (looking at you, Crosshair, Din and Vader). Earnest and caring characters have me weak, too, however (Brasso or Wrecker being good examples).

3 - which character are you actually most like?

Uh, that's a good question! I'd like to think I'm probably Anakin sans murder, as I am just a human dumpster fire that someone stumbles her was through life xD

Maybe add a dash of Obi-Wan "drops shit all the time/is somehow about to negotiate with argumentative people" for good measure, specifically the dropping shit all the time.

4 - what headcanon will you defend to the death?

Clones being Force sensitive, 100%. More specifically, they all are, but don't really know what to do with the information, so they just keep the fact they can feel each other in the Force like one massive family to themselves.

I really don't care for the fact that we never (sans one clone in a comic who of course gets killed) see it as a faint possibility. The Force isn't something you can just remove as a choice, so as far as I'm concerned they all are and I refuse to hear otherwise :)

6 - what planet would you most like to live on?

Hm, Yavin IV or Kamino.

Yavin is probably my favorite for a few reasons, but to live there 100% would be horrible on my skin lol. Kamino would be fun as I absolutely love the rain, and I know it's not always storming, so it wouldn't be always miserable. 100% though would help liberate the clones redecorate and kick the longnecks off-planet.

11 - who is the most underrated character?

Besides the clones who never really got a chance? Lol

Poe Dameron, Finn, and Rey really don't get the love they deserve, especially Rey. Yes, I know it's because the writing is shit and their movies are all a dumpster fire, but they really are fun characters who could out-shine the OT group if they had been given a coherent movie series to work with. I could go on about how much I love these nerds, but they deserve to be up there alongside a lot of the fan favorites, and Poe especially because damn sir

14 - what is your favorite alien species?

Hm, I don't think I have a favorite favorite?

I do think the Kel Dor are kinda cool, and the two groups from Dathomir are super fun and really interesting, but overall I don't have a favorite.

Do you have any non-spoilery thoughts about NotW? I haven’t read the books yet but I’m debating if it’s worth my time watching lol. No worries if you’re not up to talking about it more tho haha I totally get it

Hey, Meebs. Hmm. Spoiler free, eh?

+ It's a good fantasy action film. + The animation and soundtrack are really good. + Vesemir's characterisation is great. + There are some really shady witchers. This is a good thing. This is a group of heavily traumatised men. They aren't all fluffy bunnykins. + / - It's hella gory, including child/animal death on screen. - There are displays of child cruelty far beyond what is necessary (and, with a colder eye, practical. Like, imagine spending all that time training/feeding kids and then putting them in a position where there's 80% chance of death). - Do you like canon? Leave it at the door. It's not welcome. - There are some serious sensitivity issues with how they dealt with a "pogrom" of a minority group of people, in my opinion.

To enjoy it, separate it completely from Witcher canon and watch it as a dark fantasy anime.
