Question for the Transformers fandom. Specifically for the shippers. What is the appeal of Megatron x Starscream?

No hate. I just don't see the appeal, and I'm curious. It seems like a popular pairing and I'd like to know more.

Megatron forces Starscream to fuse with him. I’d imagine they’d look like the Transformers version of Malachite from Steven Universe.

OH YES, kinda been waiting for this one! Definitely just as conflicted and deranged as Malachite!!! Also, I'm excited to mix the fun of Starscream's wiggly Joker grin with Megan's sharp teeth...

This dude is super unstable and powerful. He is absolutely ruthless and cruel, and is not held back by Starscream's cowardice and has not retained Megatron's cold and calculating approach to battle. A mix of emotional rage and uncontrollable strength is not always the most peaceful mix...especially when the entire way they fused was through force.
