i think he will be able to help her, but…not in the way everyone expects him to haha… i think his experience was just WAY too far removed from Lusamine’s for him to be able to just toss her through the Teleporter and have everything immediately be hunky-dory, but he’s a nice guy so i imagine he’d be pretty bummed out that this poor sweet Alolan girl came all the way to Kanto with her royally fucked up mother and he can’t do ANYTHING to help… so he starts helping Lusamine through other detox methods as much as he can… which she hates and is convinced aren’t doing anything, but do end up helping in the long run. because this is Pokemon SHE’LL BE FINE

but yeah i don’t really like the idea of her just getting cured super easily and want her to have to take a long, ugly road to recovery…….bad and naughty mothers get put in the NEUROTOXIN COMA to atone for their sins

as for Lillie’s Kanteam, i’m 100% with the general fandom on the thought of her choosing Bulbasaur as her starter….i also can’t get the idea out of my head that she’d have an Abra named Nebby The Second. also a Spearow, a Magikarp, and an Eevee that evolves into either Espeon or Umbreon for an obligatory on-the-nose Sun/Moon reference….maybe a Clefairy and Exeggutor…….plus like……50 Zubats turned Crobats that she couldn’t bear to leave behind after they followed her out of Mt. Moon………maybe Butterfree also oh and Cubone THERE ARE TOO MANY POKEMON THAT ARE GOOD FOR HER
