Being friends with Melancholy
★ She’d take time to really trust someone new. But once you’re part of her inner circle, there's no going back. She's a ride or die kind of person, and Mel refuses to die. It's a double-edged sword though. Because you're going to be dragged into situations you’d rather not be in.
★ Her father thinks you're a good influence on her. At first, he didn't trust you. Which is understandable. Mel is his little girl, and he'd do anything to keep her safe. Even when he started warming up to you, he wouldn't still keep an eye on you. Just in case.
★ One thing she loves to do is gossip about the regulars in the restraint. She’d have theories about who’s sleeping around with who. If someone were to confront her about it. Mel would laugh it off, saying “Hey, I’m just calling it like I see it!”
★ If you're a patient person, she’d drag you into her dad’s restaurant and ask you to help out. Using it as an opportunity to hang out with you and get things done, basically killing two angels with one bullet. Ken even gives you a meal as payment for the work!

Melancholy x sensitive fem Reader
★ She holds back on telling you certain things. The Gaslight District is dark, violent and full of stuff she usually jokes about without a second thought. But with you, she keeps things more family-friendly. Ask about her day and Mel tells you a water down version, leaving out some details.
★ The first time you cried over something small, she froze, staring at you like a deer in headlights with no clue what to do. Now, she knows how to handle it. But there was a big learning curve.
★ Melancholy would pull you to her side and drape an arm around you. Quietly sitting with you, in silence, until you calm down. Maybe she pats your back and tells you everything be okay. You're too sweet for the Gaslight District...
★ To her, here's nothing worse than seeing you upset. Even though she can't understand why you cry so easily. She still doesn’t like it. If someone makes you cry? Don't worry. They won't be around for much longer.
★ Melancholy teases you whenever you do something domestic. Folding laundry? “You look like someone’s mom.” Help Breadhead with a bake sale? "Look at you! Helping out like a good girl, I'm so proud of you." Said with a slightly condescending tone.

★ Mel starts taking less risks. Before, she would rush into things without thinking twice. Now she takes how you might feel into consideration. Thinking about how you'd react if she got hurt again.
★ You, unlike Mel, haven't been arrested before. But if you ever got arrested, she'd break you out. No questions asked. Well, except for what you did to get locked up in the first place. "Let me guess, you got caught jaywalking?"

1: What's your OCs favorite color?
Melanie’s favorite color is a toss up between blue, purple, and silver. It really depends on her mood. She likes silver because of shiny things, she likes purple because of the deep rich purple that can be found in the flowers at her mom’s shop, and blue just because of her eyes.
2: Where does your OC work?
She’s works parttime at her mother’s flower shop, Flowerworks, in Beacon Hills.
3: What's your OCs favorite food?
Spaghetti! Give her a buttload of Parmesan cheese on top and she’s a happy girl.
4: Does your OC prefer paper or plastic?
Plastic? It really doesn’t matter to her, but she resues her bags either way.
5: How old is your OC?
Melanie is sixteen years old.
6: Does your OC have any supernatural powers?
Yes! She has recently discovered that she is half siren so she has the ability to hold her breath for a long period of time, mimic voices, see great distances and in great detail, has enhanced speed, agility, and evasiveness and con sometimes alter her scream to sound like a hawk screeching.
7: Is your OC in a relationship?
Not yet. There are a few prospects in her radar that could go one way or the other.
8: What are some of your OCs strengths?
Melanie is incredibly loyal, she is kind, she is patient (to a degree), she’s fun, and a great listener. She is always willing to give people a second chance and the benefit of the doubt.
9: What are some of your OCs weaknesses?
When people tell her not to do something she is going to go ahead and do it anyway, she is incredibly stubborn, she is a bit naive and can be too trusting, and can hold a grudge for a while.
10: What is your OCs favorite outfit?
While she frequents band shirts and jeans more often than not, every now and then she’ll switch it up; one of her all time go-to outfits is a simple sleeveless black shirt, jean shorts, a hooded blue and black plaid shirt (sleeve rolled up to elbows), and a pair of doc martens. The outfit never fails to make her feel powerful and in charge.
11: What is your OCs spirit animal?
A panda! They’re cute and cuddly at first sight but can become vicious when provoked.
12: Is your OC sexually active?
Nope. Sex isn’t all that important to her at the moment but if/when someone special comes along her stance could easily chance.
13: What is your OCs earliest memory?
Back when she was two, there was one particularly heavy snowstorm that blew through Montreal. She remembers being bundled up and put in her red sled and pulled around town as her mom and dad pointed out the Christmas lights that twinkled overhead.
14: Does your OC have a cell phone? If so, what kind?
She’s a teen, of course Melanie has a cell phone. :P It is a Samsung Galaxy of which she spends a lot of time charging due to talking to Erica on it late into the night.
15: What makes your OC angry?
Bullying. She has no tolerance for it at all. No matter who it is, if someone is being bullied she will stand up for them.
16: When is your OCs favorite time of year?
Winter, no question. She loves the falling snow, she loves the lights, she loves the atmosphere, she loves the bite of the cold on her cheeks and noes. She just loves that one time of year manages to put everyone in a good mood.
17: How long can your OC hold their breath?
About five minutes last time she timed it. Her siren abilities has helped her be able to hold her breath for long periods of time.
18: What kind of underwear does your OC wear?
Melanie doesn’t pay much attention to her underwear, she just goes with what’s comfortable. Most of the time it’s just a bra and boyshorts that tend not to match but she swaps the top out for a sports bra while playing lacrosse.
19: Does your OC prefer plaid or polka dots?
Both! She has been known to wear both at the same time as well, and on purpose. As she says why only wear one pattern at a time?
20: What's your OCs favorite kind of pizza?
Philly steak: tomatoes, onions, steak pieces, and Parmesan thrown on top.

Erica Reyes, no question, though Isaac Lahey is quickly working his way into her coveted rank of being considered a best friend.
22: Has your OC ever killed someone?
Not yet. It hasn’t occurred to her that she may have to kill someone someday.
23: Whats your OCs biggest secret?
That she’s responsible for her mother’s miscarriage of her little brother.

Honey, strawberries, and/or vanilla depending on the shampoo she used that day.
25: What time of year does your OC prefer?
Winter. Autumn is a close second.

She is half and half. Half human, half bird.
27: What languages does your OC speak?
Besides English, Melanie is fluent in French due to her father’s side of the family.
28: Does your OC like anime?
She does, Digimon, Pokemon, and Cardcaptor Sakura are her go-to shows.

Yes, she loves to swim. In fact, Melanie is one of the star swimmers on Beacon Hills High School swim team.
30: What does your OC choose to do about the, er, hair down there?
For the most part nothing, she couldn’t be bothered with it, but sometimes she trims it.
31: Does your OC believe in fairies?
She does. Melanie believes in a lot of supernatural and magical creatures, fairies absolutely being one of them. In fact, they’re one of the natural enemies to a siren so she greatly believes in them.
32: Did your OC go to college? What did they major in?
Not yet, she is in high school and as of now hasn’t thought about college at all.
33: Are your OCs parents dead?
Thankfully no, they’re both alive.
34: Is your OC religious?
Not particularly but sometimes she does feel better throwing her problems out into the universe to get some help or at least an answer.
35: How flexible is your OC?
She is fairly flexible. She can’t put her foot over her head but she can do the splits.

Forearms, back muscles, passion, lip biting/biting, neck kisses, hair tugging She doesn’t know yet.
37: What was your OCs first word?
Sausage. Yeah, her mom and dad still don’t know where that came from.

She has a german shepherd puppy named Nova.
39: Who is your OCs biggest enemy?
Allison Argent Kate Argent and Peter Hale are tied at the moment.
40: What is the craziest thing your OC has done?
Skinny dip in a lake while on summer vacation with the Reyes family.

42: Does your OC drink coffee or tea?
Neither. She doesn’t like the taste of tea and she’s been banned from drinking coffee from her family since “The Incident of ‘08″.

Her father. Through all of the hardships in her family he still goes on to face another day and she admires that.
44: What color eyes does your OC have?
Bright blue. Some people would call it electric.
45: Does your OC like reading?
She does, though it’s not her go-to activity when she has free time.

To a fault.
47: Does your OC tolerate violence?
It’s a gray area for her. Violence against others she views is wrong, especially when in a power position, but she soon learns that it will be the difference whether she survives or not.
48: What social class is your OC from?
Middle class, she’s not well-off but she’s not poor either. Her parents have worked hard enough that some things she doesn’t need to worry about but have instilled their thoughts of hardwork upon her as well.

Canada. Montreal, Quebec, Canada to be exact.
50: Does your OC cry easily?
No but when she does cry it’s because she’s really frustrated, scared, or just needs to let all of her emotions out. She’s not one to bottle things up normally, tending to wear her heart on her sleeve, but sometimes a good cry helps her sort out her feelings.
51: What is your OCs favorite genre of music?
Pop-rock, anything catchy with a good guitar line sits well with her.
52: How does your OC feel about insects?
She hates them. Spiders especially. Anything that crawls fast and has more than two legs don’t sit right with her. She’s known to jump onto the nearest person or thing just to get away from one.
53: What is your OCs sexual orientation?
Melanie is bisexual.
54: Does your OC smoke?
Nope. She likes her lungs the way they are.
55: What gender is your OC?
Melanie is a girl.
56: What kind of clothes does your OC wear?
Anything she finds comfortable, really. Jeans and band shirts are her normal school attire but she’s known to switch it up with rompers, bright pieces, bright patterns, crop tops, off the shoulder shirts, vintage tees, etc.
57: Would you call your OC adventurous?
Adventurous has to be her middle name, she goes out looking for adventure, not that it takes long to find one in Beacon Hills. It tends to get her in trouble.
58: Is your OC introverted or extroverted?
Extroverted all the way.
59: What is the first thing that someone would notice about your OC?
Her eyes followed by her dimpled smile and then her energy.
60: Does your OC enjoy nature?
Quite so. She loves being outside, feeling the sun beating down on her face and the cool breeze caressing her skin.
Mel’s fascinated by the iron man suit, but to him it would be to much. He doesn’t have enough technological understanding to make something so advanced in the first place. But the design amazes him none the less. To him however, The suit would pretty much be its own entity with a user, where as the costumes he makes complement the wearer and their abilities so they are more in control.

25. How would you like the show to end?Here’s how I want OUAT to end:
Regina and Robin is getting married. Archie is the minister. Henry will be the one who walks Regina down the isle. Roland will be the ring bearer. Everyone in Storybrooke attends the wedding, even Zelena who is still a little bit bitter (when really, she starts dreaming about her happy ending). When Archie is just about to ask them to exchange their vows, the doors burst open with Snow (who had been busy with charming kid #5 or something) and the Charmings. Regina glares at Snow with a look that says “don’t you even DARE go there”. Snow smirks at her and beams as she proclaims loudly, “sorry, I’m late!”
