I totally get this, especially about the first chunk of season 1. In fairness it did stop TELLING us how feminist a show it was as the season went on and just was one, but I'm not saying that to try and convince you to give it another shot. I get that sometimes certain shows just aren't a person's cup of tea.

meg/hero: hmmmm i’ve never liked this ship like it’s Fine intellectually but always made me feel vaguely uncomfortable and like f r an k l y i think it’s because i just didn’t see hero having sex anytime soon following nmtd and meg was always so open and happy about her sex life and i just didn’t see that as compatible. like. i don’t know if i’m articulating that well but they work as friends but not as a couple for me
