Photos of Studio Reservation show a trip to Melbourne Australia to record the album "AALIYAH".
Remember back in September for the 2000 VMA's, Aaliyah mentioned that she had flown 22 hours to be there that night. I'm sure she was exhausted. Can you imagine having to do this almost every day (or week) because you are filming QOTD and needing to finish your album simultaneously?
Because (well, it would just make more sense), Blackground set up flight reservations for Aaliyah's team to meet her in Melbourne Australia and record her 3rd album while she was filming her 2nd and final film (Queen of the Damned).
Aaliyah's film, 'Queen of the Damned,' began principal photography on October 2, 2000 and ended on February 27, 2001 (and almost immediately afterwards, she began Matrix).
On this trip was her Production Dream Team: Bud'da, Tim Barnett, Jeffery J-Dub Walker, and more. They stayed at the 'Como Melbourne', which is a 5-star boutique hotel in South Yarra known for its luxurious accommodation & personalized services.

Hi Tumblr, it's been a while. Today marks one week since I moved to Melbourne, to be with my beloved husband whom I married 3 months ago.
I moved to a new suburb in town and so far I am still confused about how to explain my feeling. It has been my dua since I was a girl that I wanna move out of my birth country, and Allah made it happen. Not only that, He blesses me with the kindest soul that I can call husband to be my imam in the new household. Because in my old life, I wasn't lucky enough with the role at home.
I am so happy, beyond grateful and excited to meet new people, experiences and growth. Bismillah.
Wondering if I've ever done any app design? Well the answer is YES. This app was designed for the Harpley Discovery Trail which is located near Werribee. It includes an audio guide, a simple treasure hunt for kids on site and information about plants, birds and water!
I have a confession to make. I’m not a fan of Indian food. My experience with the cuisine has so far been rather limited; I can literally count the number of restaurants I’ve visited in past years on one hand. I suppose the most recent visit to Tonka that took place last year might not even count seeing as the menu had quite a contemporary twist. My taste buds are often overwhelmed by the strong flavours that go hand in hand with many of the dishes; to an extent that leaves me not wanting any more Indian food for a long while. Having been ages since my last encounter with Indian cuisine, I was delighted to have received an invitation to visit Mukka and I would like to thank the owner Prateek for the opportunity to visit.
We’re definitely in Fitzroy; this was by far the hippest-looking Indian restaurant I’ve seen to date.
Mango cooler - almond milk with mango pulp and pistachio.
Tibetan Momos - dumplings filled with finely chopped cabbage and potato, served with a sesame chilli jam.
I’ve only tried momos on one other occasion during a visit to the night market that takes place at the Queen Victoria Market. While I can’t quite recall that particular experience, Mukka’s momos were very memorable. The ratio of filling to dumpling skin was spot on, and the skins were gorgeously silky and thin in texture.
The classic dosa - filled with a spiced medley of curried potatoes, served with sambar dal and coconut chutney.
The dosa was filled with a flavoursome potato filling and encased in a crispy crepe. The spice built with each bite; probably too intense to have one on my own but excellent in smaller doses.
Butter chicken // Matar paneer.
The butter chicken was very sweet, fragrant, and rich without being overwhelming. It paired beautifully with the equally fragrant and garlicky naan bread. Owner Prateek mentioned that the dish almost didn’t make the menu given that it’s one of those ‘overdone’ dishes but they ended up making the right call to include it; it’s a popular dish for a reason and Mukka’s take is the best butter chickens I’ve tasted.
The paneer had quite a spice laden flavouring and its overall taste profile was significantly more fuller bodied compared to the butter chicken. But the richness in flavour was well balanced by its meatless composition, with pieces of tofu and plenty of peas. Still, my favourite curry remains the butter chicken...
Mmmmmm, garlicky goodness...
Our visit to Mukka had achieved what I had previously dubbed the impossible, and has opened my taste buds to the delicious side of Indian cuisine. Despite our visit to Mukka taking place a mere month ago, I’m already itching to go back. Well played, Mukka. I will be seeing you again very, VERY soon.
