So I thought about making a curry...

...and @dduane asked me, since it's World Pulses Day tomorrow (10th Feb), to make something using lentils or beans.

So I did - in fact I made it off the cuff without referring to any cookbook - and the result will go up on The Mind Palate in about 18 hours.

For now, here's a teaser...

That's red lentils, chana dhal, white beans, onions, garlic, tomato, peppers, chillis and spices.

Yoghurt, more chillis and a sprinkle of garam masala for garnish, all on white & brown basmati rice.

Pickles on the side.

It's Very, Very Good.
