Look, I made a thing!!
Now that I'm actively working on my fourth and final round of edits for Mellifluous, I feel comfortable saying the final edition will be ready for both ebook and paperback print by December of this year. So in celebration, here's a little mock-up trailer ✨
(I keep seeing so many gorgeous slowburn pairing edits of late on TikTok with this particular music, so I couldn't resist using it!)
mellifluous (adj.)
early 15c., "sweet as honey, pleasing, sweetly or smoothly flowing" (of an odor, a style of speaking or writing, etc.), from Late Latin mellifluus "flowing with (or as if with) honey," from Latin mel (genitive mellis) "honey" (related to Greek meli"honey;" from PIE root *melit- "honey") + -fluus "flowing," from fluere "to flow" (see fluent). Related: Melifluously; melifluousness.
Etymonline
I saw your face in a dream.

Hello lovely followers!
Many of you may already know the wonderful Imogen @imagineitdearies from their amazing BG3 fic Perfect Slaughter (aka one of my favorite BG3 fics of all time). What you may not know is that their original work Mellifluous is now available for purchase!
Do you like grimdark queer romance in a fantasy setting? Beautifully written prose that will bring you to tears? Vampires?
If this sounds at all up your ally, I recommend taking a look at Mellifluous on Imogen's website HERE (the first two chapters can be read for free here too!)
Do mind the content warnings as detailed HERE as there are dark themes!
Consider giving Imogen a read! I just got my copy in the mail and am looking forward to diving in over the holidays!
(and for you BG3 fans, definitely consider checking out their Ao3 if you haven't already)
Dope Lemon - Music Documentary So melodious and mellifluous to the ear.
