On my insta I decided to run a 1v1 vote to pick the best out of the 7 character designs. I plan to make a fully illustration (or maybe a card or sticker) with whichever character wins.

I’m not very knowledgeable about Sanrio characters, I just made this to he silly, constructive criticism is always appropriated!
i mentioned it in tags before but im still rotating it in my brain so. I think it’s really cool that L’s successors kind of embody the three categories of people that Light wants to rid the world of once and for all. There’s the morally ‘evil’ who commit crime (Mello), ‘lazy’ people who waste their talents not helping society (Matt), and any people who try to stop him from achieving his goal (Near). Theyre quite literally the personification three people he could possibly end up hating the most

I like to think that they were each others only source of comfort, yk? Like they could only act like normal children when they were around each other.
Wammys house was a terribly competitive, abusive environment that prioritised results over the orphans' well-being. But at the end of the day both Matt and Mello knew that they had eachother to keep themselves sane.
Or maybe I js like drawing them doing dumb kid stuff lol
contrary to popular belief, he would be nervous about initiating
but would eventually initiate if he thought you were comfortable enough and/or dropping hints
that would happen after a lot of observation

if you act tenderly or reverently he's going to be so.... soft about it But also uneasy bcs he hass never really been loved...

does learn fast, although he's stiff for a long long while
he does feel the glee and the giddiness but he's very unfamiliar with it so he's actually a little timid about it
as he starts to get comfortable, he would rest his hands on your shoulders
sometimes they'd migrate to your waist perhaps
would like it if you kiss his forehead/head
don't get him wrong, it's not that he doesn't find joy in your affection
it's just that he does not know how to express it, or even process it
actually gets flustered easily - it's easy to see as well because he's so pale

has a soft spot for kisses on pulse points
will combust if you press a kiss to his neck. has a very sensitive neck.
likes it when you wrap your arms around his torso/waist tho he has no real preference, he just gets giddier when you do this
