there are officially 30 days remaining before the start of meronia week 2026! the event will run from august 17th through august 24th, and all forms of fanworks will be accepted. we’re very excited to see what everyone creates!

i like the fact that light just becomes so depressed and zombie like after L’s death. staring into space and hallucinating him, being emotionally empty 99% of the time, and the fact he mourns L more than anyone in the task force.

I dont think mellodramattic shippers who constantly dog on meronia know what they're talking abt😭😭 i ship both, but mellodramattic is unfortunately mostly made up from YOUR interpretation of their dynamic that we dont see much of. THAT is why it appears so boring from face value. everyone wants a healthy and no-evil ship but that just doesnt work for Mello's character (nor Matt's lol.) Meronia is filled with flaws, which is what makes it so interesting. Its so much fun to explore and delve into because it really opens your mind into what both of those boys went through.
