Mellophone Problems
When you have been playing another instrument for years, and they suddenly put you on a mellophone for marching band season.
one time i was marching a parade and this dad was trying to tell his kid what all the instruments are called and he was like "that's a trombone. that's a trumpet." and then he got to my instrument and hesitated then said "that's a fat trumpet" and i literally started laughing so hard i couldn't finish the fight song
i play mellophone
I have those most out of tune mellophone and to think, all my valves are almost pulled out to the end and I'm still sharp as hell.
"keep your eyes on the drum major"
i would if i could sEE PAST MY ENORMOUS BELL
Will twerk for valve oil
Mello and French Horn are two totally different things.. working my ass off to sound somewhat decent, but as soon as I miss a pitch, I get shy and.. well damnit, I should know better by now.. :/ Frustrated and going to bed.
Switching back and forth between Mellophone and French Horn is the worst. Practicing Mellophone in the middle of Concert Season is a recipe for an Embouchure Suckfest.
