Like most SOLDIERs his enhanced biology means alcohol has little to no effect on his bloodstream and it takes a lot of effort to get Sephiroth drunk. He does enjoy the taste though, having been taught proper etiquette at a young age and attending many Shinra dinner parties. He likes pairing dishes with the right wine and sharing a glass of port at the gentleman’s club with his fellow first class. In his apartment he likes to keep a bottle of whisky on the rare occasion he has guests, and when finishing up paperwork. Just because he can’t get intoxicated doesn’t mean he can’t feel relaxed from the effects.
