Do any of you recognize the name Memnarch? If so, is that recognition from historical knowledge, a distant memory, or does it still feel recent?

Naturally. He was very nearly enlightened by the ichor before his downfall. My sectives have done sophisticated work reverse-engineering the devices he left behind, called "soul traps", which he used to conjure the small, rudimentary Mirrans to this world in the first place--one can at least thank him for supplying Phyrexia with raw material.

His dedication to surveillance was admirable. Had he lived for his eyes to be fully opened, his creations could possibly even rival my own.

The key word there, of course, is almost.

Hello ô devious raccoon who knows all the dirty tricks in the book. Today, I'd to submit you a new combo. Nothing as twisted as your time shenanigans but still fun. Jodah, Archmage Eternal + Morophon, the Boundless + Arcane Adaptation.

But may I counter that with another one of my favorites?

Take the classic Myr Galvanizer combo, Silver Myr (for blue mana), and then Memnarch.
