Example of how I fail to remember things right:

Puss in Boots 2nd movie has Wish somewhere in the title, with Death is a character, and its about Puss's cavalier attitude towards his own safety.

Me: "I should watch Puss in Boots has a Death Wish."

I forgot the name of the band Twin Tribes and just went: "Goth band. We just saw them live! Monolith! The River! Ceremony! Aggressively pink vinyl record!"

That helped.

I have heard that bilingual people have more tip of the tongue moments. It seems to apply to band names as well.
