“Men don’t cry”
I hate when people associate men/boys crying to being gay or weak or soft. (Besides is being gay and/or soft that bad of a thing?) It’s human. It’s way better than bottling up your emotions to them lash out on others. Crying is ok. The stigma of being a tough man who never cries or else is unhealthy. Sneering at and bullying men/boys who have every reason to cry and calling them weak is unhealthy and not ok. Calling anyone who is effeminate a slur or weak etc is unhealthy and disgusting. Your words hurt. Words damage. Words kill. Let boys/men cry. Hell let everyone cry without calling them weak. Let them express themselves and not bottle up their feelings and find a healthy way to cope. Looking down and humiliating others for being human is disgusting. Why would crying make one less of a man? Would you rather have an emotionless robot or a person who can feel ? A jerk who gender roles emotions and has a hard time and has empathy the size of a tea spoon or a human being who is able to acknowledge their emotions without being embarrassed for being a human being who is hurting at that moment?
It’s ok to cry.
Men can cry.
Boys can cry.
Humans can cry regardless of gender.
Stop giving simple human emotions/reactions gender roles.
